The Early Years
Loria Muchler was born in a not so rich family. Her father Bernard and her mother Beatris had a hard time making money. Her mother worked as a hairdresser, while her father tried his best to scramble together money for feeding the family. It went on like that for 11 years in Loria's life, and it got worse when her mother left when she was 7 years old. Beatris couldn't handle it anymore, and separated from Bernard. That was until her father finally got recognition for his insanely high IQ. What happened?
Bernard and Loria were attending to the demonstration of a new Power armour invented by the famous Dr. Kristofer Hormann. It was called "The Genesis H-12", and it was just about to be activated. The Genesis was a large armour, with a cockpit that was inside the entire chest, and a bit of the legs. The head of the person would be inside the helmet that came with the armour. However, when it was supposed to start up at the demonstration, the Genesis didn't. It just kept standing there in its idle position. "What is this?! Someone set me up! Get me a technician, NOW!", Dr. Hormann barked out at his crew. But before the crew could find someone, Bernard Muchler already stepped up.
"I know the problem!", he said while walking up to Dr. Hormann in the Genesis. "Oh really, sir? You don't look like a technician to me...Or someone who has experience with machines like this.". Bernard ignored Hormann's words, and simply opened up the Genesis's chest plate, and looked at the wires. "Yeah I thought so, mate...Y'know you really should consider to put some cooling cells on this big machine. The wires are completely molten 'ere. Buuuut with sum' rewiring...", Bernard said, as he began rewiring the stuff. One click, and the Genesis started. "Yeah should do the work. No need to thank me.", Bernard said as he walked back into the crowd to his 11 year old daughter. "Wow, dad! I didn't know you...Wow!", Loria muttered when her father returned. "Ey it's not much...", he replied.
Not much? He thought wrong, because a few months later, Bernard and his little family owned a big and fine apartment in the very city of heroes, Millennium City. Her father was now in charge of a power armour company, called Techitekt. What happened? Kristofer saw potential in Bernard. He got him some money so he could feed his family, and offered him an apartment in MC, to make their lives better.
They were rich now! They had everything they could have wished for! But what was kept secret for them, is that it was a city, where also villains roamed. Loria got to know this secret in a very crude way...
The Villains Will Pay!
Loria had one hell of an evening at Millennium City. She found some very nice people who are now her friends, who she spent the entire evening with. However, it started to get late. They separated from each other and went back to their homes. Loria was halfway home, she could already see her apartment. However, it was then that a group of New Purple Gang members attacked her. "You look rich! You are rich, right? Well then! Let's get your money, and leave you some nice purple bruises to remember us by!", were the words from the Hired Muscle, before they started to beat in on Loria. Once they were done with her, they just left her on the sidewalk, with some big purple bruises to remember them by. Loria gathered her wits and stood up, then ran towards her apartment. When she arrived, her father was not there...Of course, he was at his company! Loria quickly ran to her room and locked the door.
Loria sat in her room...Beaten up by the New Purple Gang...For her money...She was thinking...She had seen so many crimes in this city, and now it happened to her too. Where are the heroes staying to help? She was thinking to herself, wandering through her room. She then suddenly thought of something..."If the heroes refuse to help me, and the others...Then I shall do it myself!", she suddenly said to herself, before she ran off to her desk, and started designing her OWN power armour.
From the weaponry, to the helmet functions, to the way it would make her look...Everything she designed herself. She then turned the design in to her father. He was amazed. Amazed by the incredible design from his own daughter. And then, after a night of building, the armour was ready. Loria put it on, took her helmet, and said: "There is a new heroine in town! And her name, is CYBLAST!". She then put on the helmet, activated her jet boots, and flew off into the new day, to fight crime all in Millennium City. Cyblast's career began that morning.
I am CYBLAST! Remember that name, villains, 'cause there's a new heroine in town!
An Unexpected Enemy
Loria had achieved a heroic status. She helped defeating world threatening super villains, such as Gigawatt, Ironclaw, and Bolts, stopped bank raids, and saved people from life threatening situations. When she came home, she wasn't worried about anything. Everything seemed fine. However, her happiness got cut short...Her father told her that they received a letter from a certain Dr. Hormann. He wanted to shut down Techitekt for good. The reason? Ever since he gave them the money, the license, and the apartment to live in MC, Techitekt has "stolen" all of Hormann's customers. NO ONE bought the Genesis armour he had demonstrated so epically. NO ONE invested and donated to Hormann anymore. In his eyes, it was because of TECHITEKT that his customers were gone!
"I hereby politely ask you to cease the function of Techitekt, and refund the money I (Dr. Kristofer Hormann) provided you with. If not ceased within a week, there will be consequences. Sincerely, Dr. Hormann.", is what was written at the end of the letter.
"You see, Loria? I told you this would happen. Never liked Hormann. And now he wants US to shut down Techitekt just so he has his customers. Look at him! That guy can friggin' BUY customers if he wants! And look at us! Without Techitekt we are NOTHING!", her father barked out, obviously angry on Hormann for this letter. "Dad, come on, calm down a bit! What's Hormann gonna do if we don't shut down Techitekt, eh? What does he want to do?", Loria said to calm her father down. "I don't know...But he's serious. Gah you know what, SCREW Hormann! Techitekt will go on! He just needs to make something better than we did! Pronto!", Loria's father finally said. He then stood up, ripped apart the letter, and threw it in the trashcan. However, Hormann would not agree with this...Not in a hundred years.
Visitors
It has been a few days since Hormann had sent his letter. Loria's heroic status only grew. However she had more threats to fight against: Gigawatt had escaped Stronghold and retrieved his power armour. Ironclaw returned and had a lust to take revenge on Loria and Bolts had rebuilt himself from scrap at the scrap yard Loria defeated him at. And an evil necromancer known as Brazulroth the Lifeless with his undead army threatened the Canadian Force Station Steelhead. Loria had her hands full, and to escape the call of duty, she locked herself in her basement for a while. However, just when she thought she escaped the threats...
"Loria, I have much desire to speak with you...", a voice said behind her. Loria just couldn't believe who's voice it was. "Hormann what the hell are you doing here? How...How did you get IN here?", Loria said, not looking back.
"Well as you remember I have the keys from this apartment, and I thought I could find you in the basement so well provided by myself. I am here to...Ask you something. I haven't received a response from your father yet. Could you please explain me why? I would hate it to spoil life for you and your father, but if he doesn't respond to me, I am afraid to have to shut down Techitekt in a more...Violent way.", Hormann said. Loria still was angry at him for willing to shut down Techitekt.
"Listen doc, why don't you crawl back into your laboratory and cry over your losses! My father just outsmarted you and your designs! You want customers? Then come up with something better!", she barked out to Hormann, then turned her head back to her computer screen.
Hormann was shocked by the violent reaction at first, then said with a voice as sharp as a razor: "Listen up! Tell your father, that I will not give up until he and Techitekt are gone! Those are MY customers you've taken! I don't make money anymore! I saved you from your poor life and this is what I get?! Listen, Loria... I will be victorious over you, your father, and the entire Muchler family! Don't expect me to go easy on you lot! I hereby terminate our contract! You are on your own now!". He then turned and left the basement.
Loria was relieved...But yet concerned. It appears like, that other than Gigawatt, Bolts, Ironclaw and Brasulroth, also Hormann could be added to her enemy list.
Hormann's Genesis
Loria felt threatened. Over the following five days, they heard nothing from Hormann anymore. Silence. Not even a letter, phone call, email, nothing. As if Hormann disappeared. Loria didn't bother, she had other things to do: UNTIL reported that the villainess Ironclaw was robbing a museum. An ancient lemurian artifact was about to be taken by this powerful villainess. Loria put on her signature Cyblast armour, and flew off into the sky, towards the museum, where Ironclaw and her minions were wrecking the place.
Cyblast was just on her way, until she suddenly heard a loud roaring of two powerful jet engines behind her. What she saw was unbelievable. A giant power armour flew behind her, and it was coming right for her! Cyblast switched gears and flew faster towards the museum. However, the other armour was faster. It grabbed her foot and tossed her downwards. Cyblast impacted on the ground with an amazing bang. She was paralyzed, and could only watch how the power armour descended and landed a few meters away from her. She watched as the neck armouring of the giant suit retracted, and the helmet got removed. And what she couldn't believe, is the person she saw who was WEARING the armour. Because it was the one and only Dr. Kristofer Hormann. "Surprised to see me, Loria? Didn't expect me to do that, did ya?! Well, I didn't expect YOU and your family to steal all of my customers, and destroy my career!", Hormann shouted in a rage. It was just now that Loria recognised the armour: It was the Genesis.
"I make no money anymore! All of MY customers went to YOUR father! Do you know how that feels like? Saving your grace, then getting this? It feels awful. I'll let you go with a warning, Loria...Leave Ironclaw. She works for me now. If I can't get money the legal way, then I have to do it the illegal way. Interrupt Ironclaw, and I will kill you.", Hormann said before flying off.
Loria was completely in shock. She couldn't feel her body anymore...She couldn't do anything...She was completely frozen in place. It seems like the one that saved their lives became a villain.
Loria couldn't resist the urge to fly to the museum, no matter what Hormann would do. However, she was too late. All of the security guards were dead, or heavily wounded, and Ironclaw was gone with the artefact she stole from the museum. It wouldn't take long before Hormann wouldn't be a normal businessman anymore, but a world class super villain.
Nowadays
With her list of villains only growing, and Hormann willing to shut down Techitekt with brutal force, Cyblast is more busy than ever. She barely gets time to hang around at the famed club Caprice, but she can be seen around when she isn't taking down villains. However, she has made quite some good allies as well. Allies to help her fight the threats of the many villains she came across.
List of Villains
Thermite
STATUS: On the run. Alive.
Thermite is "one hell of a dangerous villainess", as said by MCPD chief James Surhoff. He came to encounter Thermite during the outbreak of the Westside prison. Thermite had been in a lone cell there, waiting for the moment to break out. Thanks to some of her fellow prisoners, she escaped and retrieved her power armour. The armour of Thermite is made from the very durable material Questionite, and is capable of levelling entire buildings with the mandibles on the helmet. Not only that, but Thermite is also a bit of a pyromaniac. She enhanced her suit with flamethrowers mounted inside the palms of her hands. Thermite was charged for destroying houses, and robbing banks. When she got free, she was eventually bested by Cyblast before she could get away into Westside's streets. However, though severely beaten by Cyblast, Thermite succeeded in fleeing into Westside's sewers. Whether Thermite is still there, or somewhere else, remains a mystery. But one thing is for sure: Cyblast is on nr. one of her to-kill list.
Bolts
STATUS: Alive.
As previously told, Bolts already was an arch enemy of heroes all over. But his hate to Cyblast grew bigger when she "killed" him. What happened? Their final showdown on the scrap yard. After a long and violent fight against this monstrous machine, Cyblast managed to take control of a crane, and stick Bolts to the giant magnet that was on it. Then, despite Bolt's begs for mercy, Cyblast lowered the magnet into a car compacter. Cyblast dismounted him from the magnet, and Bolts fell into the compactor, which then quickly completely crushed him. However, one thing didn't get crushed: His main processor. That night, Bolts re-activated himself, and rebuilt himself into what he is now: A pile of walking scrap. But he hasn't gotten less dangerous! In fact, he became even MORE dangerous! Now he has the ability to fire a barrage of missiles! Cyblast will have a tough time trying to bring this soup can to justice. Will no one help her?
Gigawatt
STATUS: Alive.
Gigawatt is VIPER's latest project to gain control of the weather. Because there is a saying: "Whoever controls the weather, controls the world.". Thus, they hired the evil scientist Wyatt Galow. He got money and equipment from VIPER, and a few days after his employment, the power armoured villain known as Gigawatt came into existence. Gigawatt is known for his lightning control abilities. Those are unparalleled! He can create lighting storms at will, and control them to his liking. Gigawatt is a feared icon amongst heroes, as he is responsible for some devastating events that left all heroes in awe. However, when Gigawatt threatened to destroy all of Millennium City, our beloved heroine Cyblast stepped in, and saved the day from this menace. She got him into Stronghold after his defeat. However, after the Irradiate Uprising at Stronghold, Wyatt escaped, and retrieved his power armour. Now, the menace known as Gigawatt is loose again, and it will only be a matter of time before he reveals his next terrible master plan to destroy all.
Brasulroth
STATUS: Undead
Within the frozen mountains of Canada, hiding inside the frozen caves, is Brasulroth the Lifeless! An eons old necromancer, with a lust for destruction and doom. Brasulroth has an insane magic capability, enabling him to deal a high amount of magic damage, AND it grants him the power to summon undead! He is quite a new threat on the surface of the planet, only having revealed himself a few years ago. But he is dangerous: He alone was responsible for a mass murder at Force Station Steelhead. He alone was able to summon a whole platoon of fallen soldiers at the mountains. Brasulroth may be dead, and he may be half rotten, but he is a dangerous threat and he must be stopped!
Ironclaw
STATUS: Alive.
The most dangerous flying villainess out there! Ironclaw is a mercenary who doesn't work for honour: She works for the money and the money alone. She is very cold blooded in executing her tasks, and even enjoying it the most when she gets to make her victims suffer a little. Her wings are sharp as razors, and she uses them as a secondary weapon. Her primary weapons are her signature silver pistols, which is her most feared attribute. Ironclaw has an unnaturally high hand-eye coordination, and it seems as if she continually adapts to her weapon's recoil, allowing her to make critical shots from a decent distance. Not too long ago, Cyblast had defeated Ironclaw in an epic battle above Millennium City. Ironclaw was sent to Stronghold, but the convoy which was supposed to bring her there simply vanished. All that remained were a few destroyed trucks, each with signals of plasma ray impacts. Ironclaw is now roaming free again, in employment of Dr. Kristofer Hormann.
Cyberblade
STATUS: Alive.
An alien? A human? No one knows. Cyberblade is a cold blooded killer seemingly out on earning money the violent way. Many technical enhancements, implants, and the likes made Cyberblade a being with superhuman capabilities. Deadly strength makes her able to deal the fatal blow to an opponent within a matter of seconds. Deadly speed makes her able to dodge incoming fire. Deadly accuracy lets her pinpoint enemy weaknesses and hit her opponents where it hurts the most. Cyberblade has revealed herself by assassinating several billionaires across the globe, taking all of their money. Where she keeps it all is unknown. Cyberblade and Cyblast had their first encounter on the Millennium City blimp. Cyblast overpowered Cyberblade, but with a quick escape manoeuvre, Cyberblade still managed to escape the sword of justice. Now, still roaming free, Cyberblade is still on the hunt for precious money.
Power Surge
STATUS: Deceased.
Power Surge was a world class super villain known for his terrible schemes to steal all power in the world. As in his quote: "I shall steal ALL the power in the world! Then, I shall harness it, and become the most powerful ruler the world has ever known!". He committed multiple crimes and is responsible for the deaths of several superheroes, such as Cyblast's old ally Turbine. However, Turbine went down in sacrifice to prevent Power Surge from gaining ultimate strength at a nuclear power plant. Power Surge had used an override code, and was drawing all nuclear energy to himself. Cyblast and Turbine tried to prevent him from reaching the generator he was drawing power from, but it was too late. At least, Cyblast thought. In a final attempt to stop Power Surge, Turbine went to the generator and manually pushed it to the maximum, overloading Power Surge's armour causing it to explode, killing him in the process. However, Turbine was exposed to insane amounts of radiation. Cyblast took her to Mercy Hospital at Millennium City, but she was too late...Turbine died a few hours later due to the radiation.
Theratos
STATUS: Banished to a Qliphotic realm, persumed dead.
Theratos the Forgotten was a Nephilim that was locked in the catacombs of a church, chained to sins. It was that one day a man foolish enough to break the chains set Theratos free. Theratos was determined to aid his master Therakiel in the bringing of the apocalypse, but he was halted countless times by Cyblast. At one point, Theratos had enough of it, and took a small army of Nephilim to Millennium City. There, they started their mayhem. However, Cyblast was yet again present at the scene. In a rage to see the heroine that thwarted his plans many times, Theratos decided to fight Cyblast himself. However, that was his biggest mistake. After a long and intense battle, Cyblast overpowered Theratos, and with the help of Witchcraft, banished him from this plane of existence. Theratos the Forgotten was no more.
Commander Chaos
STATUS: Imprisoned in Stronghold.
See that mace? I know you think that's gotta be heavy. But Commander Chaos here just lifts it as if it were air! Chaos is a world class super villain known for his schemes to take over Earth. He tried to take over America twice in the past. He got his encounter with Cyblast when he was committing a terrorist action. He was attempting to bring down an entire apartment filled with people, with his mace only, and he nearly succeeded! Cyblast stepped in just in time and brought this criminal to justice. However, now locked away deep within Stronghold, Commander Chaos is breeding on a new master plan to take revenge on the heroine that brought him inside that doomed place.
Mad Bomb
STATUS: Alive.
She is crazy, dangerous, and just plain diabolic. Mad Bomb is a mentally deranged super villain who has a burning passion for blowing stuff up. Being sent to a bedlam at the age of 16, Halina Griesmeyer started to develop a great hatred against heroes. For one, it were the heroes that sent her to that doomed place. Those pesky heroes! It was then that when the security came to check her, she brutally murdered them, escaped her cell, killed almost everyone, rigged the bedlam with explosives she found and blew the entire place up! Over time, she built up her suit, and a reputation as a dangerous villain. Mad Bomb is still on the loose and commits daily crimes, and Cyblast keeps thwarting her plans, which of course made them rivals. Mad Bomb can always be seen wielding rocket launchers, grenades, and grenade launchers. She also tends to use a shotgun.
Blackstone
STATUS: Deceased.
Blackstone was a Qliphotic entity that apparently was made out of pure darkness. Blackstone wasn't an ordinary Qliphotic: He was an Archhorror, and able to control darkness and shadows at will. He was all powerful and responsible for a demon outbreak in 1963. The day Blackstone got summoned again by DEMON, he was on the top of his power. He was called "The Destroyer Of Worlds" for a reason. However, his existence was ended by Cyblast during the very summoning ritual itself. He was emerging from the portal, until Cyblast got into the room. She destroyed all of the sigils needed to keep the portal open. In a final attempt to stop Cyblast, Blackstone fired a blast of immensely powerful dark energy at her. It knocked her out of the sky and heavily damaged her armour, but it was far worse for Blackstone. In a roar of defeat, Blackstone vanished from existence as the portal closed.
Hytros
STATUS: Alive.
Superheroes are the nr. one enemy of this villainess. In the past, she tried to throw a bunch of people in an acid bath, to let them experience what the animals in the heavily polluted water have to go through. However, she was stopped by heroes that time. Even her later attempts were stopped by by these pesky heroes. To show these superheroes not to mess with her any longer, she fused her DNA with that of a shark, in her eyes the perfect killer, and started her villainous reputation to get rid of all of them. She began with small things like robbing banks, but now she has started full scale operations like attacking military submarines with her small army of monstrous servants. When and where Hytros will strike again is unpredictable, and so is her fighting style. Hytros is dangerous, and should not be fought alone.
