Origin Story

Azure is, though she nor hardly anyone else knows it, is the embodiment of arcane magic itself. She is an arcane goddess, suddenly existing one day in the cabin of an old man. She was 'born' fully grown. The old man taught her to use her powerful innate talent with arcane energies, he being a once-powerful sorcerer himself. Before he died, he wrote and signed a note declaring Azure to be a natural-born American citizen, as well as explaining what she was to the best of his knowledge, explaining her age, and muteness. He was once a well respected hero of Detroit and so his note was heeded, and Azure granted full citizenship, as well as given a heroing license once she proved she knew and could understand what it entailed.

Characteristics

Immortal: Azure is a 'level-one' immortal. This means she does not age, and nothing can truly kill her. <ICly known/assumed>

Muteness: Azure is mute for an unknown reason. While she is entirely capable of assuming a form with all of the proper biological parts for speaking, she is entirely incapable of speech. This muteness extends even into telepathy, where she is known to think only in images and sounds she has heard. <ICly widely known>

Energy being: Azure's entire existence consists of pure arcane energy. She has been known to have such high levels of arcane energy that they have cause measuring tools to explode. Azure is unaffected by physical ailments or injuries, though the energy from a physical attack will still harm her. However, having her head cut off affects her no more than having her little finger cut off. No matter what, Azure will eventually reform herself. <ICly known by Primus>

Clothing: Azure's clothing is a part of herself. She can change it at will, and it will regenerate itself just like her body.

Telepathy: Telepathy does not affect Azure. Telepaths will not even detect the presence of a mind within her. This does not go for telepaths who gain their telepathy from arcane magic. Arcane magic-based telepathy works perfectly and without much resistance.

Azure is like a child in some ways, yet more mature in others. Her personality is hard to pinpoint, but she does definitely have many very child-like aspects. She is naive, curious, unworldly, lacks certain aspects of common sense. She seems to understand intimacy, yet not what the intimacy means in society. She is thus more open about such things. She does not seem to understand social etiquette, for the most part. She is very friendly, very kind, caring of everyone, even if they are the opposite towards her. She has been observed to show sadness when she is forced to kill a foe.
