Background and Origin
Isabella was a biological scientist working with Project Greenskin in finding ways to solve both the irradiate and general radiation problems in the atomic wasteland. She happened to be near a 'dirty' bomb, scrapped together by irradiates, when it went off. She awoke, surrounded by irradiates attempting to 'convert' her into one of their own kind. Some genetic marker in her DNA combined with the radiation to cause a much different mutation than the average irradiate, as her body absorbed the radiation and began to utilize it. Her muscle mass mutated and increased, her entire appearance changed, and she had great powers.
Project Greenskin took her in, ran some tests for her cognitive ability, amazed to find her mind still quite intact, unlike most irradiates. Not knowing any reliable way to reverse the effects, she was referred to the superhero world instead, and sent to Millenium City to begin her new life as Atomica.
Powers
Strength - Atomica's strength is immense, and can vary depending on how much adrenaline is in her system, or how much radiation she has absorbed.
Durability - Atomica's skin is nigh-impenetrable, and her muscles are dense and tough, able to resist blunt force trauma. This trait, like her strength, grows depending on how much adrenaline is in her system, or how much radiation she has absorbed.
Regeneration - Atomica regenerates any injuries she manages to sustain rather quickly. Most injuries will heal overnight.
Stamina - Atomica does not tire easily, and can exert herself for a long time before requiring rest.
Radiation - Atomica's body absorbs any form or amount of radiation, increasing her powers, and to a degree her aggression.
Side-effects
Radiation - Atomica's body puts out low levels of alpha radiation. It is harmless to most life unless it enters the body, which would require her to basically kiss the person.
Aggression - Atomica's transformation has left her much more aggressive in all ways than she used to be. She is far from a raging beast, but she is notably more confident, prone to fighting, as well as more sexually forward.
