Early Life

Born Sherrikov Kalashnikov, supposed nephew to the famous Mikhail Kalashnikov, Sher was raised on a farm near Pavlodar, Kazakhstan. While Sherrikov's family lived in poverty and were often in need, yet their relatives were wealthy, Sherrikov's father, Dmitri, was a very stubborn and prideful man. For days at a time, Dmitri would sit and yearn for food, painfully aware of his thinning physique, yet he would never consent to asking his cousin for financial aid. As a result, Natalya, Sherrikov's mother, turned towards thievery to provide for her son. Whatever was not stolen was bought with stolen coin.

While his upbringing may have been rough, Sherrikov's parents were generous and always put their son's needs ahead of their own. Sadly, however, this would result in their own untimely demise, as they could not sustain themselves on air and water, alone. Sherrikov was taken into custody of an orphanage at the raw age of three, where he sat in relative comfort, too young to fully understand the fate of his parents and too old to simply forget. However, fate was quick to smile on the child, for the young babe did catch the eye of a wandering salesman.

Nikhail Durrivitch

Once a famous inventor living under another identity, Nikhail decided to return to a simpler life. He began to travel from town to town, peddling oddities and toys to the locals, and trying to make as little a name for himself as possible. It was in Pavlodar that he grew the sudden yearning to not be alone; this was a feeling foreign to Nikhail, for he was always satisfied for his seclusion. For a time, Nikhail began to wonder what kind of company he sought. He considered a romantic relationship, then quickly shook his head. An old bat like him had no need for love. It was then that he considered camaraderie. He began to imagine having a child to raise; having a son to teach new things and to show life and happiness to. It was because of this that he turned to an orphanage near the edge of the city. It was here that he found a small child named Sherrikov Kalashnikov that and took interest in him. He was sure of himself, then, of what he sought, and quickly had the paperwork filed to adopt the child.

Already, plans formulated in the back of his head for how he would raise the child. First, he would cultivate him into a gentleman, teaching him proper manners and etiquette, then he would introduce him to the trade that Nikhail himself had one partook in: inventing. As humans shifted and matured, their habits ever changing, one thing always remained a constant; Humans were curious. Whether he engineered new inventions of mastered old relics, someone would take an interest; paying money exhibit the works of art. It was this that would spark a passionate flame within the child.
