Aaron Hope, known by many as the legendary God-Eater, was an infamously powerful Outer Shadow under the codename Dainsleif, who defected from the Black Legion Organization in response to completing a bout proposed by Inner Shadow Evangelion to save the lives of Jay Hellion's Tactical War Doll Regiment.
During his service, Aaron was one of the Black Legion's greatest assets due to his abnormal intellect, combat prowess, strategy, and skill in firearms and tactical warfare. The feats accomplished by Hope were so insurmountable that the Outer Shadow was designated the extremely rare SS Rank.
