Sarge: *walks in, not breaking stride when he notices Vit* David.

Vitality: Hey, I'm glad you're here

Sarge: Uh-huh. You dropped this by the way.

Sarge: *holds out Vit's comm device*

Vitality: *grabs the comm device and pockets it* Yeah, thanks

Vitality: What I did yesterday...

Vitality: It's not who I want to be

Sarge: I know that.

Vitality: I've been driven so hard because of everything that's happened in my past

Vitality: People have died because of me

Sarge: You didn't kill them David.

Vitality: They would still be here if not because of me

Vitality: When I first found out about my abilities...

Vitality: I was at bar with my friends

Vitality: All my friends from growing up

Sarge: *listens to this new info*

Vitality: *clenches his jaw* When Teleios sent that robot after me, that's where I was

Vitality: That thing killed so many people before I could stop it, so many of my friends

Vitality: After that, I pushed myself into this

Vitality: I let that drive me

Sarge: You didn't build that robot. you didn't send it on its way.

Sarge: That was Teleios.

Vitality: If I wasn't there...would those people still be alive?

Sarge: Barring some unforeseen circumstances... yes.

Sarge: But what could you have done differently?

Vitality: *shakes his head slowly* I don't know... *pauses a moment* but I pushed myself, I was driven by that to be someone worthy enough for their lives

Sarge: You achieved that, trust me.

Vitality: Then I met Anlea

Vitality: and I thought for a moment, that I was on the right path

Vitality: and then I couldn't protect her when she needed me most

Vitality: and after everything that's happened, that led me to this point, that led to what I did yesterday...

Vitality: I can't...I can't do this anymore

Sarge: Because of Winston?

Vitality: because of everything...people die because of me, and now people are being killed by me

Vitality: I'm not who I thought I needed to be...I can't do this...I need to walk away from this

Vitality: I am, walking away from this

Sarge: *sighs* Why'd you take back the comm then?

Vitality: *shakes his head* I don't know...but I'm done.

Sarge: Look, David. I can't tell you to do or what not to do with your life and your powers.

Vitality: I'm not looking for you to try to talk me out of it. My mind is made up

Sarge: Just hold on a moment.

Sarge: Hear me out.

Sarge: There was defintely one thing you said that was completely correct, yesterday.

Sarge: You're naive.

Sarge: People die, every day David. They die wrong. We'll never know their names. And there's nothing we could have done to save them.

Sarge: Nothing.

Sarge: None of us are God. We can't be everywhere and know everything, or save everyone. These are thing I had to learn to accept a long time ago-

Vitality: *sighs slightly, interrupting* Please tell the others for me. Bye Sarge

Sarge turns as Vitality flies out the exit, staring at the door for a moment before bringing his left hand up and resting his forehead on it.
