Arthur Toye
Arthur Toye is a Demon Hunter and very strongly themed anti-hero. As such, he fights a war the rest of the world does not see or even know about. He tends to take much more drastic measures than a typical hero would, putting him into conflict with many characters.

Early years
Arthur Toye, born April 27 1984 to Richard and Margaret Toye. Early life spent following Family on buisiness travels. Permenant residence in Sunnyvale CA. Regular attendance Sunnyvale Highschool 2000, after illness related death of Margaret Toye (Mother). Took over Toye Holdings ITL. After Richard Toye's (Father) disappearance (March 2001).
Business Life
After Taking over Toye Holdings ITL, Arthur's first act was to fire the Board of Directors, publicly blameing them for his father's disappearance. After several months of restructuring, Toye Holdings regained profitability, and has since become one of the United States major Military contractors.
Political Career
Arthur Toye successfully ran for Mayor of Sunnyvale CA in 2003.
Arthur Toye successfully ran for U.S. Senator (CA) in 2006, Due mainly to heavy Native American support.

Personality Profile
Arthur Toye is a man of strong convictions, willing to do whatever he deems nessesary for his beliefs. This attitude has treated him well at the polls. This coupled with his independant wealth, and well known Charity work with the Valkyrie Foundation has kept him popular with the public dispite his party affiliation. It is my opinion that Senator Toye's drive and charity both stem from the early loss of his parents. This is evidenced not only in the care he has taken of the Family company, but also his choice of charities, an organization that cares for Orphans with special needs. His recent Nationwide travels seem to indicate that he will be running for the Presidency after turning 36.
- Secret Service note: Senator Toye has been known to lose his protection detail for hours at a time.

History
Early Life
Arthur's Early life was that of a jet setter until his Mother's illness. With His mother's mysterious illness and eventual death, both he and his father setteled down in Sunnyvale CA, Arthur's birthplace, and Headquarters of Toye Holdings International. It is durring his time attending School there, that he would meet several people who would ultimatly change the course of his life. Attending classes with him were Dora Silvermoon, a Native American girl from the nearby Reservation, Running Wolf, Her brother, and Will McBlack, a young member of the local clergy.
The Hunt
The hunt began early for Arthur. Several close encounters with the supernatural eventually lead to a revealing incident, His father had struck a demonic bargain for power, and his mother had been a part of the price. The other portion of the deal was his fathers participation in bringing about the Apocalypse. A quick series of events followed, which resulted in Arthur beheading his father in order to prevent the Apocalypse, and save Dora Silvermoon. Arthur's first act as Head of Toye Holdings was to fire the entire Board of Directors, which was composed entirely of Demons, Warlocks, and other Evil creatures bent on ending the world. A Brief power-struggle ensued, with Arthur emerging on top (with the help of Will McBlack , Dora, Running Wolf, and his friend Charlotte). Then however tragity struck, and like all tragities, it came in three.
- Running Wolf's girlfriend, Rae, Died suddenly.
- Running Wolf, unable to bare the pain, took his own life.
- Charlotte was turned into a Vampire.
Under the strain of these events, several things happened:
Arthur and Dora, in a moment of privacy before Running Wolf's funeral, had sex.
Will & Arthur swore Vengance on the Vampire that turned Charlotte.
Arthur, taken to a ceremony after the funeral, became a warrior for the Totem Wolf , a position previously held by Running Wolf. The spirit's choice was to the suprise of everyone involved, most of all Arthur.
In the years that followed Dora and Arthur drew distant from each other, but this didn't stop her from supporting him when he ran first for Mayor, and then Senator.
Arthur and Will tracked down the Vampire Angela who had turned Charlotte, but to date have been unable to kill her.
Valkyrie Foundation
Over the years Arthur has used his Money, and Political influence to cover the tracks of and assist Will and the other hunters he has taken under his wing (Most noteably Elizabeth Perkins ), as of 2008 Arthur had Will (under an alias) form the Valkyrie Foundation as a Non-Profit Organization, in order to continue funneling money and equipment to the Hunters. Taking the position as C.F.O. these "donations" have remained off the I.R.S. radar.
Skills & Powers
Mundane Skills
Being for the most part Human, Arthur has a wide range of mundane skills, a few of the more prominant ones are as follows.
- Business Sense: More a combination of natural talent, and a high intellect than an actual skill, Arthur's business sense has served him well, not only in business and politics, but also in uncovering the identities of long lived creatures through examination of "unusual" business trends and transactions.
- Swordsmanship: Rarely used these days, Arthur is a skilled Fencer, having won several tournaments in his youth. This skill has transfered over to a general aptitude for hitting things with weapons.
- Wordsmithing: Again, less an actual skill and more a combination of his high intellect and political experience. None the less Arthur's ability to craft words has saved the day on more than one occation, allowing him to out-speak, and out-smart many nerfarious creatures that attempted to use words to confuse and control.
Supernatural Abilities
The Totem spirit Wolf has given Arthur a smattering of supernatural abilities. Most of them he does his best to keep hidden, especially from other hunters.
- Near-Superhuman Strength: Arthur's Strength is much greater than his physique would suggest, not actually superhuman per-se, but right at the edge of what's humanly possible. Equivilant to a champion bodybuilder in top form.
- Near-Superhuman Reflexes: Arthur's reflexes are much like his strength, not actually superhuman, just at the very top end of what is humanly possible. Equivilent to a fully trained Sharpshooter or Martial Artist in top form.
- Hard to kill: Arthur may still be human, but actually pinning him down and killing him is very hard to do. Arthur has shrugged off blows and wounds that would have killed many a normal man. Arthur tries not to think about it too much.
- Enhanced Sense of Smell: Much like a Canine, Arthur's Sense of smell is more developed than a normal humans.
- Canine instincts: The Wolf has imparted an instinctual knowledge upon Arthur, gracing him in combat and in life. Arthur actually spent a lot of time learning to control the impulses that came with these instincts.
- Pack Mentality: A subsection of Arthur's Canine Instincts. Arthur always seems to work better in a group. Usually as the Leader (Alpha), so far, only Will McBlack has been able to get Arthur to play second fiddle for any length of time.
Tech & Gear
When on the hunt Arthur carries a fairly large amount of equipment around. Much of this is top end military hardware funneled from his Business, some of it is beyond what he sells to the military, and some few items are Mystical in nature.
Mundane Tech
- Custom built .454 Casull Semi-Automatics: Arthur carries a pair of Semi-auto pistols he had custom made to fire the powerful .454 Casull round. Only his enhanced strength and reflexes allow him to fire these weapons simultaniously.
- XM177: For when Bullets hurt something, Arthur uses a varient of the M-16 to fill it full of holes.
- Collapsable Bow & Wooden Arrows: For when that vampire WAAAAAAAY over there has to be staked RIGHT NOW. Arthur carries a collapsable bow and wooden arrows while on the hunt. The bow is made from modern superalloys to handle his enhanced strength.
- Anticoagulants: When facing Vampires or "living" supernaturals such as Werewolves, Arthur treats his weapons with Anticoagulants, over the years he has found that this tends to hinder the regenerative abilities many supernaturals possess. As such he keeps several Vials on his person when on the Hunt.
Super Tech
- Force Field Generator: The brillient scientists at Toye Holdings have miniaturized a wide array of devices, all currently being withheld from the military until it's "More Profitable". Arthur's Forcefield generator actually has multiple functions, all condensed into a simple forearm unit.
- Directional forcefield: The primary function of the unit. A Directional forcefield can be projected in front of Arthur.
- Inertial reduction field: The unit constantly projects a field around Arthur that slows down high speed projectiles.
- 360 Mode: The force field can be set to a state of controlled overload, allowing full 360 coverage for a short time, this has the added benefit of transfering some of it's energy to the projectiles and strikes Arthur makes durring that time.
- Reason Satellites: Over the last couple years, Toye Holdings has placed a network of "Communication Satellites" in Sun-Synchronous Orbit providing non-stop coverage worldwide. These satellites however serve multiple purposes.
- Communications: First and formost the Reason Satellites actually do what they're supposed to, provide global comunications, but not only for the public, there are also seperate channels designated for use by Toye Holdings, and Valkyrie Foundation.
- White-out Generators: On command, or through preprogrammed events, the satellite can generate electronic White Noise, effectively jamming any and all attempts to scan the satellite or it's vicinity. White-out mode is engaged automatically whenever the bombardment systems are active.
- Pin-point Bombardment: Using Solar Radiation, the satellites can bombard locals on the surface once targeted by a valid target painter. This Validation is available to Valkyrie Foundation members upon request.
- Reason Protocols: This is a special Fireing mode available only to Arthur and Will. Should a situation ever arise where it needs to be used, the world will know. The hardware for this fireing mode was derived from top secret documents Arthur "aquired" about Dr. Destroyer's Satellite. The Reason Protocols are a last line of defense, ment to wipe entire cities off the map should Apocalypse level events become uncontainable. Everyone listens to Reason.
- Communications Headset: Appearing to be a normal Headset, this device is actually a direct link to the Reason Satellite network. The headset is boosted in power to cut through the interfearance caused by many high level supernatural creatures, and uses Bio-recognition to authenticate it's user.
- Rocket Boots: With the assistance of these boots (developed by Toye Holdings for Mobile Infantry applications) Arthur can fly.
Mystical Gear
- Devil's Trap Necklace: Just as the Devil's Trap can keep demons out of a container, this necklace keeps demons out of Arthur, making him all but immune to possession.
- "Bad Day" Stakes: These items are one of the most valuable tools a Hunter can have. Stakes made of Mistletoe, banded together with silver bands and tipped with cold iron. The next step consists of soaking the stake over night in The Holy Oil of St. John. The weapon is then completed by dipping the tip in lambs blood and letting the blood dry. Overall, these weapons, when plunged into the heart of a creature, will kill just about anything. Every member of Valkyrie Foundation owns at least one of these.
