Summary

Joy-Ride manifested her technopathic abilities as a young teen when she found that she could make payphones connect her for free. Then it was hands-free video gaming. She came to the attention of the federal government when she earned her nickname, borrowing cars without hot-wiring them. A government agency planted watchers in her high school to keep track of her and then recruited her after graduation.

Joy-Ride eventually found herself working as a combat and transport pilot for PRIMUS. It was there that she met Thuy Xi Tranh Kontrol. When Kontrol and Mentiac were forming the first incarnation of DE:LTA Kontrol insisted they could make better use of the young pilot than PRIMUS had.

Joy-Ride served in DE:LTA for a year before the "Mechanon Encounter" where she was tragically killed in action.
