Current Status
Titan-8 and Nicholas are coming into their own. He has registered with UNITY, and is pleased with the capabilities of the Armor. The sense of power is a heady mix for him, and he finds himself torn as the armor becomes more famous than he will every be.
Background
Titan-8 appeared on the scene about a year ago, and was at first very clumsy, and his leaping about caused a fair amount of collateral damage. Katrina Mirinova has been training him how to control his leaps better, and the armor itself seems to have adjusted, getting basic jets which can keep the heavy armor aloft.

Titan-8 acquired the armor when he was on a research mission for the Goodman Institute. He was sent with two other scientists to investigate a meteor which had fallen near the Somali coast. He was captured by Pirates who had already recovered the meteor. The pirates had the idea to cut up the meteor in order to sell it to the various buyers, when in his cutting he discovered there was something inside the rock. His teammates tried to take the recovered pieces and escape, but were killed.
Katrina Mirinova was part of the ARGENT team sent to recover the meteor. The ARGENT team had decided to simply take the meteor and pocket the money ARGENT had set up to buy the meteor. However, the pirates were planning to double cross ARGENT anyway, even as the ARGENT agents were planning on killed Katrina Mirinova. In the firefight that ensued, the meteor was struck by the chest beam of an ARGENT cyborg. The armor inside the meteor absorbed the energy and bonded with both Katrina and Nicholas. Katrina rejected most of the bonding process, but Nicholas had no choice and the armor grafted to him, and leaped away with him. He woke up in Yemen, where he rested and healed while the armor adjusted to his physiology,and was again discovered by Katrina Mirinova as she was rendezvousing with her contacts in ARGENT. She convinced ARGENT to send him back to their US facility and then helped him to escape to Millennium City, where he has remained,again working for the Goodman institute and discovering a suit of armor that seems to have a mind of its own.
