the Cerulian's realm is called the realm of the cerulean castle, or Cerulia for short, and is an alternate dimension which is a constantly sunny, warm world of eleven canyons, numbered by the class level of each one, with eleven being the highest class, and one being the lowest. at the center of the eleven canyons is the gigantic cerulean castle, home of the royalty that rules over the entire realm. tradition dictates that family and first names are after a type of the color blue, after the sky blue discovered metal that helped found the age of cerulean tech that they call cosmic cerulean, which when turned into a weapon, can cut through anything on earth but solid questionite. in sapphire's realm, cosmic cerulean is used for literally everything, from coins and weapons, to armor and building materials. the metal is found almost everywhere underground and in space in the realm, and as such is a very common metal in it, but is completely nonexistent on earth. this realm's level of tech is at about the level of modern tech in the CO universe, if not higher due to the heavy presence of magic, except everything is based off of cosmic cerulean instead of steel, questionite, or other normal materials found on earth. also, once a year, there is a cosmic anomaly in sapphire's realm, in which the dimensional walls of it interact with all the cosmic cerulean and make the dimensional walls thin, allowing for travel between dimensions if someone could create the device needed to do it.

properties of the Cerulian's sacred metal, cosmic cerulean

when mixed with certain spells from sapphire's realm, cosmic cerulean has the ability to be used in any form as a non-lethal weapon, in the way that it acts as a very strong but non-lethal stun baton. when turned into a bladed weapon, it can cut through anything on earth but solid questionite, and is also harder, in any form, then anything on earth but solid questionite. once a year, a cosmic anomaly in sapphire's realm interacts with all the cosmic cerulean in the realm, causing the walls between dimensions to thin, allowing for someone with the right tech to travel between dimensions. unfortunately the anomaly only lasts an hour, so the traveler only has a small window of time to travel between dimensions. after the hour is up, the dimensional walls around Cerulia close until the anomaly happens again the next year.
