Haliris Atal:
A Lemurian Queen, last of a decimated house and follower of the new gods. She recognises that Lemurians as a species are on the brink of extinction, and in her enclave mandated each woman must have at least three children. Following the new gods has broken the Bleak Curse, and saved the souls of future generations... though other Lemurian groups consider her a heretic, a non conformist and a threat.
Haliris is named for a maverick ancestor, with a pedigree dating back to the Atlantean age. Her mother thought it would be a "good luck" charm.
Her enclave has pure Lemurians, bleak-touched, half-breeds, humans, Mole-men and the last devolved descendants of Lemurians trapped eons ago when the Mandragalore fell. Haliris herself, an only lonely child, greatly desired a large family, and sets an example for her people, having nine children of her own, the gods-forged twins and several draconic spawn of the jotun.
Haliris hired eighty of the Snooki-clones to help rebuild her undersea dome city with crystalos reinforcement. She later grew attached to them and adopted them.
Eric Asiman:
A space privateer by trade, Lokispawn by birth, and raised by the eccentric human wizard Marcus in Vibora. Eric- or "Red" as he's known- has a storied past, a younger version of himself from an alternate timeline and a space ship. He carries a magic golden spear he wrested from the hand of Amosa, a Briah-spirit in exile, the infamous "Order in the heart of Chaos".
Red relies on magic and alien tech, and his own natural shapechanging abilities. While he is himself god-spawn, it is not something he advertises, being most comfortable in his human form, rather then as a blue-skinned giant or a six limbed lindworm. He's sired several children with women of multiple species, but has married Haliris of Lemuria and seems content.
He's known for a sharp sense of humor.
Kierdan of the Burning Frost:
The eldest son of Haliris and Red, he is a winged, four-armed young man of about seventeen years of age, marked by patterns of fine blue scales on his skin. He changes into a large "kaiju" form of magical reptilian monster. As the crown prince this is looked upon with great approval by the Lemurians in his mother's enclave. Currently he lives in the Lemurian Embassy in downtown Detroit and attends a super-school there with a number of his younger siblings.
Kierdan likes to build and tinker and though he is at odds with his mother Haliris, Zorran the Artificer considers him a proper student of the Lemurian magitech arts.
Zareen the Golden, a harpy and fellow student is quite fond of Kierdan and can be seen regularly perching on his shoulders.
Nedylene, youngest daughter of Amosa, is currently dating Kierdan, much to his father's amusement, and her father's dismay.
Ngozi Eshai:
Twin sister to Ndidi, she was born on the mortal plane- but is otherwise identical to her otherworldly-born sibling. She is a little quieter and more studious, and takes her responsibilities as royalty seriously.
Ngozi attends East Briar Institute with her many siblings.
Her name translates to "Blessing", in Igbo.
Ndidi Eshai:
What happens when your mother, a Lemurian queen and priestess of the Ignatium goddess Raeshaa, is possessed by her goddess and has an affair with a magic spear-wielding jotun, possessed in turn by the Vodun Loa of Murder, Kriminel?
A Really good time, it seems!
Given a boost by the ancient magic of the Briah that the jotun's spear was imbued with, new life was made, on Earth and in the Otherworld together: Twin girls. When the queen was ready to give birth, she and her now-husband were taken up to the Crossroads. There, for seven years, [though only a few months here] the girls and the other children were raised. Both mortal and divine at once, they were cherished and taught by both sets of parents.
Ndidi is the spirit child, her name means "Patience" in Igbo. Her identical yet earthborn sister is Ngozi. Together they are interchangeable and incorrigible.
