Akara is an Odari princess from the planet Odar, which was destroyed by a cosmic entity known as Hypernova. She, along with a large group of other Odari, was forced to find a new home. And with the help of neighbouring planets, they found the perfect planet to serve as the Odari's new home:
Earth.
About Odar and the Odari
Technology
The technology on Odar was far superior to ours. The Odari came really close to mastering Quantum Leaping, but were bested by the Omroth'Esh, another species in the Oseris system. They did master Quantum storage and cloning, which gave them the ability to make hundreds upon thousands of products in a matter of days. This ranged from vehicles, to food, to clothing. Though the Odari weren't all set on warfare at all, they possessed quite a bit of firepower. Odari technology is remarkable for its plastic-y look. This is mostly apparent on the armours the Odari wear. All Odari wear a helmet, but their face remains visible. The armours are remarkably light-weight, yet extremely durable and can stand quite a few knocks.
Religion
Oddly enough, there used to be parts on Odar where the Odari worshipped Scindixus and the other deities of the Paesa. This is odd, seeing as the Paesa originally stems from a whole different dimension and world: Rodir (Click here for more explanation about the Paesa). How this all was possible remains unknown, as it is unlikely that any Descendants would've been able to get to Odar. Though it is believed the Odari picked their own "descendants" and "priests".
As for the rest of the Odar, the Odari are quite an atheïstic species. With the destruction of Odar, and the death of all of the Paesa followers, the Paesa ceased to be amongst the Odari.
Culture
The Odari culture is very similar to the western culture of humans, except for a few differences. For instance, females have always had more power than males, being the dominant gender. A male Odari is allowed to marry multiple females, with a maximum of 5. Though, much of their culture remains unknown to date, as the Odari are very obscure on Earth and refuse to tell us much about them.
About Akara
On Odar
Akara was a very famous icon on Odar, given the fact she was a princess. Not to mention, the princess of the largest country on the planet, which took up over two thirds of Odar's landmass. She was born in the city of Ayere, a small city built specifically for Odari with a higher status. She was born in the Chatai family, as the daughter of king Ryr Chatai and queen Yiau Chatai. She was raised within the city and never left its borders, thus causing her to socialise with only the Odari of higher status. That in turn resulted in her becoming very polite and friendly to others. Though, Akara spent only 1 year of her life on Odar, before it was destroyed. She was mostly raised in the Omrothean vessel that brought her and the surviving Odari to Earth, and on Earth itself.
Akara was home-schooled and learned self-defense at a very early age, as accustom to Odari culture.
