Lindsey Lao was born in London, UK to British-Cantonese parents. An only child, she was academically gifted but showed a real passion for athletics, competing regionally in gymnastics and martial arts, a skill taught by her mother. She is known as the daughter of revered politician William Lao and his wife Mei Lin Lao, who were murdered under orders of the Tang Po triad organisation in a case which shocked the nation.

Devastated at the loss of her parents, the teenager set off on a mission of martial retribution throughout the criminal network, systematically searching for the one responsible. Locating a warehouse in the Docklands, she infiltrates the hideout and brings down every guard present, leading to a showdown with the triad boss. She defeats the villain but is prevented from killing him by the sudden appearance of local superheroes Mr Britain and Brit Boy, who convince her to leave him to the law.

Following the imprisonment of the Tang Po boss, Lindsey appeared at the superhero stronghold Britannia Manor, where Mr Britain agreed to take her under his wing. She became Brit Girl, the hero now known to PRIMUS. After a full season of training, she was officiated as the new sidekick of Mr Britain, with the former Brit Boy shifting his operations solo as the hero Redcoat.

Brit Girl is known to operate within London and the UK as a whole, frequently seen alongside her UKGuard team-mates and her mentor Mr Britain. Lindsey was recently inducted into the Ministry of Superhuman Affairs, designated Agent 8.

Physical Conditioning
Due to her gymnastic training she is extremely flexible and possesses extraordinary reactions and balance. She can run, jump and climb faster and further than many athletes and her movement is described as graceful and almost cat-like. With her acrobatic agility enhanced by the shock absorbent qualities of the Britsuit, she can survive falls from great heights.

Martial Artistry
Lindsey has received expert martial guidance from her mother since childhood. She has also undergone intensive combat training from both Mr Britain and Redcoat. Like the latter, her fighting style is mainly focused on fluid acrobatic kicks, quick throws, counters and redirection. As such her martial focus is based on Jeet Kun Do and Wing Chun Kung Fu, but is also inspired by elements of Brazilian Caprioca, Judo and Kickboxing.

Gymnastics
She holds many regional gold medals in Gymnastics and regularly trains her skills at Britannia Manor.

Mental Conditioning
High intellect, disciplined and remains calm under pressure.

Multilingual
Lindsey is fluent in Cantonese and English. She is also capable in Mandarin, French and Spanish.

As a disciple of Mr Britain, Lindsey has access to vast wealth and resources; alongside a plethora of high-tech equipment, weapons, armours & gadgets for use if the occasion requires.
