Overview
An unliving relic of the Turakian Age, Vul-Daltok is among the oldest, most knowledgeable Mystics that humanity has ever created. His origins are unknown to most, and any reliable information was lost in the cataclysm that ended the Turakian Age. Even his current state of existence is a matter of debate some say he is merely a Lich, others say he has simply decayed but not died. Only Vul-Daltok knows the truth, and it is unlikely he will reveal it.
Background and Origin
From the little information Vul-Daltok has revealed of his history, combined with the few historical records of the Turakian Age, his birth is placed early in the Second Epoch of the Turakian Age in the City of Aarn. How his childhood unfolded is largely unknown, only that at some point he came to the attention of one of the Mages' Guilds within Aarn.
Personality
Vul-Daltok is not an easy individual to like. He has no tolerance for those who waste his time, is easily irritated, and tends to hold grudges for long periods of time. More importantly, Vul-Daltok takes great pride in his Arcane knowledge and rarely tolerates it being called into question. It is important to note that if he is proven wrong, with proof that he accepts, Vul-Daltok has no issue apologizing for his conduct.
Spells
Vul-Daltok is a child of Turakian Arcane Practice, and his preferred method of spellcasting reflect this. It is important to note that during the Turakian Age, Wizards had to fear the wrath of the gods if their power was invoked, and the Gods noticed. But now, tens of thousands of years without widespread, active worship, the power of the Turakian Gods is greatly deminished and Vul-Daltok no longer needs fear their wrath, or need their power. It is out of a sense of familiarity however that many of his spells share the names and effects with those used in the Turakian Age.
It is not only Turakian Magic that Vul-Daltok is adept in however, another notable form of arcane practice Vul-Daltok is known to be knowledgeable in is Atlantean Magic.
