"Being a hero is great and all but as the years go on you start to learn that you're not just being a hero, you're being a role model for younger people out there. Your actions reflect what people think of you out there. Theres more to just wearing a flashy costume and having a cool name and powers. Its that everyday by giving back to the community you are not only making the world a better place but you're also inspiring hope into the everyday citizens."
"All I can say is that I'm a firm believer in if you had one chance to do something that would inspire someone into being something better than what they already are or if you had one chance to do something that would even make someone feel better about themselves. Not by choice. But by responsibility then by God wouldn't you take that chance? I would. I do what I do because I want to make people feel like maybe there is hope in the world that one day they won't have to live in fear anymore. Yeah this is coming from me. Some 20-year old college kid who can run really, really fast. But thats just it. I hope that one day when I do give up the superheroics that maybe I did just enough in my younger years to change the world in many different ways."

History
Brandon Grant was born and raised on the mirror earth known as, Multifaria. Multifaria is essentially an earth where the morality of heroes and villains played out differently, where The Champions became villains known as The Conquerers and the villains like Medusa, Psimon and so on became heroes that were captured and incarcerated in a super-prison that nullified their powers and kept them in Hot Sleep for an indefinite amount of time. Then their was Brandon's team known as The Resistance.
The Resistance was a team of renegades that formed to stop the Conquerers and their leader Shadow Destroyer so they could reinstate peace and prosperity across all of Multifaria. Brandon came across the team after his parents were killed by the Conquerers after speaking out against the new law put on metahumans and after this Brandon joined the Resistance to fight for the betterment of all of mankind. Brandon worked as the tactician of the Resistance and was skilled with most weapons, firearms, and even some disguises. One day things to a turn for the worse when the Resistance planned to storm a warehouse owned by Shadow Destroyer to manufactured a "synaptic enhancer" drug that would increase alertness, speed, agility, reflexes, and natural healing factor of his Multifarian police force and invoke in the creation of a new-line of super-soldiers that would be better equipped for more "superhuman" threats. The Resistance team wanted to steal this drug for their own means so they could be the ones with enough strength to take down the police force with no sweat and without the use of weapons.
Brandon and Resistance team leader, Gritz lead the assault on the warehouse but someone on their team squealed as they were set up no soon after storming the front doors of the warehouse. An explosion went off injuring if not killing most of their team and Brandon suffering some extreme 3rd degree burns, but Brandon didn't give up as he reached for the Synaptic Enhancer drug and injected it into himself and used it to heal his wounds, which it did. Brandon also found that the Enhancer was only in its prototype stages and only enough ingredients and components were used to make just one, which miraculously gave Brandon the gift of running at superhuman speeds. Using his new powers Brandon got the Gritz and the rest of his team that wasn't dead back to their base where they could be looked after by their medical staff while Brandon sped off to take the fight to Shadow Destroyer, thinking his new super speed powers would be enough to defeat him and free all the captured superhumans in the prison. But something went wrong, while Brandon ran towards the super-prison he broke machs he didn't even know he could reach and traveled faster than the speed of light until he eventually disappeared into nothing.
As luck would have it though Brandon didn't disappear into nothingness he actually ran so fast he broke the dimensional barrier of his earth and ended up traveling through time and space. Brandon while floating through the timestream saw present, future, and past events with many of them not even originating from his earth and thus confirming the existence of multiple earths and the infinite realms that exist far beyond his own. The trauma of everything that Brandon encountered with being burned to a crisp, healed via an experimental drug, and gaining superpowers that eventually made him travel through time caused Brandon to get amnesia and wind up landing onto an alternate earth different from his own. This earth being Millenial or Champions Earth. Brandon (quite literally) landed on the doorstep of a kind old woman's house named, Martha Reece who took the boy in and raised him as his own. Brandon, only having memories of his name and that he had superpowers decided to make an instant connection to that he was related to the famous speester, Kinetik and so modeled himself a homemade costume and made his not-so-superheroic debut in Millennium City as Kid Kinetik.
Brandon's first superheroic act though wasn't the best one as he tried saving some people in a burning building, which he did (partly) correct but ended up making the building explode in the end. Turns out Brandon every time he runs his body lets off hyper-charged molecules that wound up exciting the flames inside the building and caused it to explode and kill the people on the higher levels of the building Brandon couldn't get to. He was instantly deemed nuisance and a public menace and became instantly heated by the public and pursued by the police (which he instantly lost). Brandon later attracted the attention of a fellow teen hero named, Redhawke who instantly recruited him to be apart of his team of teenage metahumans known simply as the, Young-Titans. Brandon quickly agreed as he saw it as a chance to redeem himself as a hero and adopted Kid Kinetik as his permanent codename. Brandon would operate as Kid Kinetik for roughly over a year before Redhawke immediately had to disband the team and everyone who ever joined had to go their separate ways.
Brandon would operate as a solo hero for years and eventually dropped his alias as Kid Kinetik due to the problems he faced with the actual speedster simply named, Kinetik. Brandon later adopted a new name which was, Lightrun and stayed active as a solo hero before being recruited by UNTIL to join their own take on his past Young-Titans supergroup but renaming it the Millennium Titans program which recruited teenage heroes across the globe and would fund their missions to stop crime that the could get the adults to handle, this would also lead to Brandon adopting a new codename and dropping Lightrun in favor of Velocity. This group only lasted several months before the United Nations voted in favor of having the team to disband finding it "reckless" that funding a group of teenagers to risk their lives because some adult heroes that have way more experience are too busy with their own problems to actually be called in and settle the threat that is going on. Brandon and the rest of Millennium Titans students disbanded and went their separate ways just like the Young-Titans did and Brandon kept his new codename but went back to being a solo hero again, not being able to trust joining another team out of fear that it might disband again and leave him by his lonesome once again.
Personality
As Velocitus, Brandon shows his confidence and a sense of (semi)-maturity as a superhero. Of course Brandon is never afraid to express his child-like love whenever he is feeling relaxed. Even at 20 years old, Brandon will still act like his old teenage self. He is also an extreme loud-mouth and wise-cracker as he uses this as a mechanism to mock his adversaries and annoy them, knowing that they (usually) can't move at the speeds that he moves at, causing them to make mistakes and allow Brandon enough time to find a break in their defenses.
While in his civvies, Brandon is not shy but reserved. He, in most cases talks in a soft-toned voice and is not afraid to let out a joke here and there. He often does this to separate his identity as normal Brandon Grant and Velocitus. Of course many people would wonder how does Brandon even maintain a secret identity at all seeing that his "mask" is a see through visor. Well it is pretty hard to keep track of someone's face if they're moving at the speed of light...
Friends and Allies
Brandon first met Red Hawke during his time with the Young-Titans when he first arrived in Millennium City. While he hasn't seen or kept in contact with Red Hawke he still considers the former team leader a friend and ally...even if he did change his cell phone number.
Nightflight
Nightflight was the secondary team leader of the Young-Titans. While he was rarely spotted throughout the group's short run, Brandon did meet up with him once or twice. Considered him an awesome guy. Nightflight is no longer operating in Millennium City as of the current day, but Brandon one day hopes to maybe meet back up with him if he ever were to stop by Millennium City again in the future.
Kinetik
Kinetik is perhaps the closest thing Brandon had to a best friend and even a mentor for him during his younger years. When Brandon first appeared on Champions Earth with little recollection of his previous life on Multifaria, he sought out Kinetik in hopes of having the hero train him and help him gain better control over his abilities. After awhile Brandon (unofficially) adopted the moniker 'Kid Kinetik' and operated as a superhero of his own until Kinetik managed to talk Brandon out of using the 'Kid Kinetik' name any further before he winded up with a target on his back. Velocitus and Kinetik still remain close friends but rarely interact as much as they used to given that the both of them are often occupied with their own personal responsibilities.
Groups and Affiliations
The Resistance
Before Brandon even got his powers he was just simply Brandon Grant, a 13 year old Resistance member working leader, Gritz to battle Citizen Harmon and his army of Destroids. Brandon operated as a mechanic/engineer. He knew his away around machines and thus made him a viable team player while working with the Resistance. He accepted the risks that came with being a Resistance member, but Brandon being only 13 didn't care and he knew the stakes of becoming a fighter. He no longer had a mother and father so he had nothing left to lose if something did end up happening to him. Of course though every hero needs to have an origin story and Brandon's was that an ambush on one of Citizen Harmon's warehouses went south and most of Brandon's Resistance team was horribly injured while trying to steal a serum that would increase awareness and reaction time. In a time of desperation Brandon injected himself with the serum and gained powers from it. And thus a future superhero was born.
Young-Titans
From late-2012 to 2013, Brandon operated under the alias of Kid Kinetik and was eventually recruited by a hero named Redhawke to join his new team of meta-teens called the Young-Titans. Brandon would work closely with the likes of a few heroes within the said supergroup, mainly the two prominent leaders Nightflight and Redhawke. Although the team didn't last very long as public criticism of underage teens putting their lives at risk started to arise throughout the city. Smear campaigns against the Young-Titans were started and online movement groups started to form with the hashtag, #StoptheYoungTitans. Eventually the team eventually disbanded and Brandon operated as a solo hero while Nightflight and Redhawke went back to their respective home of Bishop City.
Millennium Titans
At some point in 2014 to 2015, Brandon was contacted by UNTIL to be recruited into their version of the Young-Titans. By this point Brandon was operating by the media-dubbed name of Lightrun after having a run-in with Kinetik and politely asking him to drop the name of 'Kid Kinetik' as Brandon's actions at the time were really getting the latter hero a lot of negative attention. UNTIL wanted to recruit Brandon into a more experienced version of his past team, and this time live up to the expectations that were supposed to be fulfilled during his time with the Young-Titans. Brandon like his last team stayed with the Millennium Titans for a short time before they ultimately disbanded due the concern of tasking teenagers with global-scale missions UNTIL can easily hire a more experienced hero or team to deal with than a bunch of kids. Though one benefit came out of all this and that was when Brandon was given the new codename of Velocity as 'Lightrun' sounded pathetic.

VITAL
Real Name: Edwin Hermes
Powers/Abilities:
Occupation: Megalomaniac
Origin: Science
Motivation: Unknown
Edwin Hermes a.k.a Vital is inverted version to Kid Kinetik (at the time). Edwin and Brandon were rivals for the longest time throughout Brandon's run as Kid Kinetik. Edwin possessed similar speed-based powers to Brandon, except Edwin drew his abilities from what was dubbed the, Dark Hyper-Force. Which would allow Edwin to run faster than the speed of darkness. Which presumably made Edwin able to run faster than Brandon himself.

Powers and Abilities
Hyper-Force Connection
- Synaptic Enhancer Physiology: Brandon Grant suffered extreme third degree burns during the assault his resistance team lead on a warehouse owned by Shadow Destroyer to produce a special drug that would increase the user's awareness, reflexes, and healing. Brandon used this prototype, experimental drug to heal himself and unintentionally bestow himself the gift of super-speed. Brandon could now do almost-if-not-everything at superhuman speeds. He quickly took to using his new powers to become a superhero and become a symbol of hope to those he came across in his adventures.
- Hyper-Force Conduit: The self-named "Hyper-Force" as Brandon has come to call it, is an extra-dimensional energy force from which he draws a portion if-not all of his power from to perform feats like time travel. Only a select few of speedsters are actually connected to the Hyper-Force and with Brandon as its prime conduit he is in fact it's strongest user. The Hyper-Force allows for each and ever user connected to it able to draw a portion of its power into "Hyper-Energy", an extra-dimensional energy that can be manifested into what will look to be electricity but in reality it is far different than normal electricity as Hyper-Energy can act as a "fuel" and power items for how Brandon describes for indefinite amounts of time. The actual physical Hyper-Force however is a place where time doesn't exist and thus only a few seconds in the Hyper-Force could mean you were likely gone for hours, and a few minutes could mean you were gone for years. Lastly the Hyper-Force allows any user (with enough experience) to travel time or universes by vibrating at the right frequency to go from one timeline to another or one earth to another. It is unknown "how" exactly the Hyper-Force was even created but it is likely that it was created during Brandon's entrapment in the space-time continuum when he first used his powers back on Multifaria and then it's creation was later enhanced when Brandon became able to break the speed of light itself.
- Hyper-Force Aura: Brandon's body is surrounded by an invisible "speed aura" that grants him protection from the harsh conditions that come with running a superhuman speeds. This aura also self-applies itself to and "passengers" Brandon may carry in arm or on his back when it comes to rescuing normal civilians, but his aura isn't all that helpful at the same time. The aura lacks a certain ability to contain Brandon's hyper-accelerated molecules and thus every time he runs, an object near him usually catches fire or explodes because the molecules inside said object become very excited to the point where a flame ignites or the molecules break down entirely and simply explode. Luckily though this same phenomenon doesn't happen with people and Brandon has taken to calling this said phenomenon as, Hyperkinetic Implosion.
- Hyper-Force Clones: Brandon can move so fast that he can generate "after-images" of himself to act as a decoy and distract his enemies. This is accomplished by Brandon needing to move faster than the normal human eye and brain can process (which really isn't that hard for him) and also vibrate at a frequency high enough that an almost "holographic" illusion is left behind, creating the appearance of a static Brandon, standing completely still and idle. Although some have been able to see through this trick as sometimes the "clones" are transparent and can be seen through and the lack of a skeleton makes it obvious that the person(s) fighting Brandon have been duped into believing that he was just standing still, not attacking.
- Hyper-Energy Generation: Brandon can tap into the very extra-dimensional force he's connected to and draw on its power to perform the perfect long-ranged attacks needed in case melee purposes aren't the best idea or solution. Brandon's Hyper-Energy is said to be 20-30 times worse than electricity as Hyper-Energy is capable of exciting the molecules in a person's body to the point of where they explode or can even be sent through time and space, luckily for Brandon though he can "tune" and "crank" the Hyper-Energy he uses to whatever voltage he wants and keep from possibly killing someone. But in most cases Brandon rarely will use Hyper-Energy-based attacks due to some people's bodies respond differently to Hyper-Energy exposure and can be gifted super-speed powers of their own if their lucky.
- Hyperkinetic Force Generation: through Brandon's ability to accelerate his movements, he can generate great amounts of physical forces through kinetic energy and friction, allowing him to overpower regular humans with little to no effort. Through generation of his accelerated momentum, he can propel himself through the air and create substantial frictional force with any object he comes into contact with, able to jump over 15 feet in the air. The friction from his speed can also cause extreme heat and set objects ablaze. Alternatively, his enhanced speed lets him channel the force into powerful strikes, often propelling targets several feet. The force he generates can even produce sonic blasts with his strikes, enough to disable a meta-human who could become as strong and hard as steel.
- Aerokinesis: Using his speed, Brandon can control air flow on all levels by moving through them fast enough and create vacuums. He can suffocate people by creating a strong vortex around them by running around them. He can spin his arms at the speed of a tornado to remove air from fire and extinguish it and repel targets away and sometimes in some cases even create a "wind barrier" to deflect back things like small caliber bullets and such, though this "wind barrier" technique is rarely used anymore.
- Photokinesis: Whenever Brandon runs, he emits a trail of red light that follows down after him whenever he is moving (at super-speed that is). Brandon taught himself how to take advantage of this photonic light source and use it to his advantage and has been able to use the light of his "speed trail" to blind bigger opponents far beyond his normal stature and capabilities.
- Superhuman Speed: The main power in Brandon's "power tree", He is able to move, think, and reacting with lightning reflexes and tremendous speed. Brandon when he first started out could only run in-between machs 1 and 2 but as he grew older and got more experience with using his powers he eventually became able to run faster than light itself and leave a red trail of light that follows down after him every time he runs. Brandon can run and performs actions so fast that he can even travel between time and earths but doesn't do it much unless its extremely necessary due to the repercussions that can come with tampering with timelines and alternate earths, which has made it one of the reasons why he doesn't use his powers to travel back to Multifarian Earth.
- Superhuman Stamina: Brandon's body can handle the stresses of superhuman racing without noticeable distress. He can exert large amounts of energy for indefinite amounts of time with no problem and without tiring out. His body is in a constant state of ecstasy that always leaves Brandon excited, "pumped", thrilled, etc. for whatever is to come next and never seems to show signs of ever needing to stop or catch his breath.
- Superhuman Agility: His physiology grants him superhuman agility being more flexible and having greater balance.
- Accelerated Perception: Brandon's enhanced senses that allow him to see at an increased speed and understand it as it is processed. At his fastest, Brandon's perception of time is 1:62, meaning for every 1 second that passes for everyone else, 62 seconds passes for Brandon.
- Superhuman Reflexes: Brandon's reaction time and reflexes are also superior to that of a human. Because his brain functions at superhuman speeds, everything he perceives, moves slower to him. Even in his earliest appearances he could perform feats of incredibly fast reaction-time.
- Enhanced Strength: After years of being a superhero, Brandon's abilities put a lot of strain on his body and to make up for this his enhanced physiology has allowed for him to have a denser muscle structure then most other normal humans. While being only able to lift up/or around 700 lbs Brandon has shown that with enough willpower he can likely bench at least one ton and this even includes if he's running with the object.
- Kiloton Punch: Another power that goes into Brandon's enhanced strength is what he called the 'Kiloton Punch'. Essentially what this abilities is, Brandon can run for short period of time and build up just enough kinetic energy that he can redirect all of that energy into one precise location. His fist. And by doing this Brandon can perform a punch so powerful that it knocks most opponents off their feet. Though the only people who have ever been able to resist this said attack have been people of heightened durability factors or people with the meta-ability to absorb energy.
- Wall-Running: By gaining enough momentum (which in his case isn't very hard) Brandon can scale up walls in order to get to higher locations or maneuver past/or through obstacles.
- Intangibility: When vibrating his own molecules at the right frequency as any solid object, Brandon can become like a ghost and pass through objects. When this power was first discovered Brandon couldn't seem to use it without the object he was passing through explode after words, but after much time and practice, Brandon eventually learned how to become intangible and not make the object he was going through no longer explode.
- Regenerative Healing Factor: Hyper-Force conduits are not invulnerable nor durable enough to sustain damage however if they are harmed they will heal at high speeds. Any normal wear and tear damage to their bodies are almost instantly healed. Brandon's own molecular structure is always creating constant new fluxes of fully healed dying skin and tissue particles, making it nearly impossible to actually scar or bruise Brandon without his healing factor fully restoring the said damage done to him.
Equipment
- Velocitus Suit: Brandon wears a protective suit as his superhero alter-ego, Velocitus, to hide his identity from his enemies when he goes out fighting crime. Brandon's current suit is unlike any other he's worn before it is now composed of a state-of-the-art invention created by Harmon Industries called "Polythin Hydralic Fluid". Polythin Hydralic Fluid bonds with alloys and composites like the ones used in Brandon's suit to reduce friction and improve performance and while it is very expensive and difficult to obtain, Brandon's connections with Harmon Labs have earned him a free "discount" on the material and was able to incorporate it into his suit. Brandon's suit also incorporate shock-absorbing gauntlets to lessen the impact of his punches when facing off against non-metahuman threats as well as taking to wearing Kendrium-alloy-plated boots to prevent the use of sharpened or bladed weaponry from piercing through them whenever he is to be vibrating his molecules at such a frequency that he can become intangible.
- Headset: Taking a huge departure from the usual goggles he used to wear, Brandon has created a special visor/headset that acts as a all-in-one functioning device. The 'headset' has a built-in visor that will allow for Brandon to run at top speed and not risk the possibly of getting any sort of debris in his eyes, as well as be able to see in multiple ranges of vision from night and thermal to infrared vision. The headset also brings back Brandon's 'lightning bolt ear caps' from his Kid Kinetik costume and outfits them with a comm-link that broadcasts the latest breaking news and events happening in Millennium City.
Costumes
Weaknesses
- Hyper-Metabolism: While moving at accelerated speeds, Brandon burns calories much faster than a normal person. This requires him to consume large amounts of nutrients to maintain his peak physical performance. Continued usage of his speed while deprived of such render him disoriented and weak before ultimately passing out as a result of low blood glucose. Also, because of his accelerated healing, he is unable to be given painkillers, sedatives, or anesthetics, as his body's metabolism burns through them too quickly for them to have any effect.
- Light Absorption: Because of Brandon's unique physiology allowing him to run faster than the speed of light as well as his mastery of using said light as an offensive weapon, Brandon has become susceptible to having this very light trail absorbed from him and leaving him temporarily powerless. However, as this power is genetically coded to his DNA, so he can potentially regain his speed by using more intense light exposure to jump-start it again.
- Kinetic Energy Absorption: Because Brandon's abilities are derived from movement, the removal of the kinetic energy he builds up will leave him in a state of temporary paralysis. However, if he can build back up enough kinetic energy within himself, the effect can be instantly negated.
- Absolute Zero: Because molecules begin to slow down at negative degree temperatures, Velocitus can be stopped by any cold-based attacks as the chill/frost begins to slow his hyper-active, unstable molecules causing any accelerated movement to become near-if-not exactly impossible.
- Unstable Molecules and Hyperkinetic Implosion: Brandon's body whenever he runs emits a constant flux of unstable, hyper-charged molecules that have been known to get him in quite a bit of trouble. Brandon's unstable molecules have cause buildings that were on fire to explode because the molecules only excited the flames to the point of where they spread and eventually cause the building to blow up. Not to mention that inanimate objects suffer as well from a phenomenon which Brandon has dubbed, "Hyperkinetic Implosion". What this basically is, is whenever Brandon runs the unstable molecules his body lets off causes certain if not all objects to explode in on themselves because the molecular structure of said inanimate object is excited to the point of where it combusts into a flame or just explodes.

RP Hooks
- Velocitus is a well-known agent for both UNTIL and UNITY. Often being tasked with a lot of missions across the globe due to his abilities of super-speed of course. You may have heard his name thrown around a bit.
- He is a frequent eater at Darren's Pizza in City Center. The owners there may often tell you stories of a crimson-suited speedster devouring several pies of pizza in under an hour.
- Pictures, forums, and probably a few videos even often showcase or talk about a "red blur" or "red light" with a body and shape of a man inside of it and how it moved at light speeds. These people are most likely talking about Velocitus.
- More than a few YouTube videos exist on the debate of "Velocitus vs. Kinetik". Who is faster? Or who is better?
- If your character attends Millennium City University, you may have already seen Velocitus as he frequently does public speeches there during his free time.
- Velocitus is actually the poster boy for a few Narcola billboards plastered all over Millennium City, often telling of how 'hyper' it can get you.

Trivia
- Velocitus is my main character that I play within the universe of Champions Online. He was created on April 11, 2013 and I can say I've grown with this character as he has experienced the most RP since he was first created.
- This character has seen a lot of retcons to his history since he was first created. Most retcons being around whether he was from an alternate earth, timeline, or future. Past supergroups Velocitus has been apart of often 'died' due to inactivity and were restarted again when members became active again. With each restart a reboot was put in place, often times this made Velocitus' personal timeline very questionable between when he got his powers, when he arrived on Champions Earth, and when he joined said super group.
- With this being said Velocitus has rebooted a total of 8 times.
- Most of Brandon's costumes have often featured either an over-abundance or just one singular lightning bolt insignia. The 'Impact' suit stands as the only suit for Brandon that didn't feature a lightning bolt emblem on the chest, but instead wore a golden-colored lightning bolt 'badge' that was worn on Brandon's right shoulder. This same lightning bolt badge was previously worn on the costume of Brandon's Kid Kinetik suit back when he still operated under that namesake. The Velocity suit also used the lightning bolt badge, but this time utilizing two, one of each positioned on each shoulder instead of just one while at the same time plastering his usual lightning bolt emblem on the chest of the suit. The Velocitus Suit, however, introduces a brand-new emblem that has never been used before on any of the previous costumes.
- Velocitus has gone by many in-game names, nicknames, and aliases. Some being Impact, Fast Food, and Mustard Boy.
- The name Velocitus came from the probable origin that was never used for another speedster that never got made. Velocitus was going to be the name of the fictional god that would bestow the character with their powers.
- While it is obvious that Velocitus is heavily inspired off of The Flash from DC Comics he was more based from Bart Allen, the second Kid Flash and the third Flash.
- Originally when Velocitus was first created the idea of the "Hyper-Force" never existed and it was just assumed that the red light trail he left behind was emanating off his costume since many of his past suits used a lot of red in their color schemes. Of course it was eventually discovered that it was due to that Brandon can run faster than light.
- Despite abandoning his 'Kid Kinetik' identity years ago Brandon never dropped the red and white/silver color scheme even when operating under one of his many different codenames he gained throughout the years.
- Velocitus' current suit is inspired off of Wally West's current suit in the DC Titans Rebirth title.
- Brandon is an addict for listening to Nightcore versions of his favorite songs on YouTube.
- Despite being apart of several teams in the past, Brandon doesn't have as many friends. Due to this Brandon has kept to being a solo and more reserved hero, but he is always open to good team-up.
- While the Hyper-Force could be looked at as an analogue to DC's concept of the Speed Force, the actual inspirations for the Hyper-Force came from the Star Gate in 2001: A Space Odyssey and the Tesseract from Interstellar.
