Vasuda Vulpha is an Animal Empathist and skilled archer. Originally born in India, she uncovered her ability to speak with animals after fleeing from home and living in the wild, alongside a pack of wolves.

Origins

Family Life

Vasuda Agrawhal was the daughter of a high-class family of doctors in Kolkata. Though generally quite heavily westernized in manner of language, Vasuda was still bound to a traditional life - learning from her mother on how to maintain a household, and eventually to be married in an arranged relationship. Having always heard stories about how such traditions and limitations didn't exist in the US, she repeatedly begged her parents to move to the west, only to be turned down every time. Her father only thought that he was doing her a favor, and that if they moved west, they would only find hardship, and his dear Vasuda would only become entwined in relationships that would eventually break her heart. Nonetheless, over the years, Vasuda clandestinely made preparations, getting the appropriate clearance and information on travelling abroad.

By the time she turned 18, she was finally set up with a groom; Durai Mahadwar, a charming, albeit clumsy chef, and son to a millionaire family from Delhi. The two were arranged to make their first meeting at the Agrawhal home, Srivar and Deviyani working frantically to dress up and prepare Vasuda to make her first entrance. Skeptical and fed up with the whole ruse, Vasuda silently left the house before the Mahadwar's arrived. The family accused the Agrawhals for wasting their precious time, claiming them to be liars and not even having a daughter, and left. The Agrawhal family had just lost a major opportunity.

Meanwhile, Vasuda was fleeing. With nothing but the few thousand rupees she had saved up, her passports, and a spare outfit, she took a taxi to the airport, and caught a one-way plane to the US. Though she had prepared the paperwork and money, she was unfamiliar with US geography, and ended up taking the first flight she saw to the US: a transfer flight all the way from Kolkata to New Mexico.
