Note received, I C/Ped the instructions to a sticky note for reference. I will say, though, that the file type doesn't matter all that much. All the files I've uploaded are PNG, and none of them come close to touching 1MB of space. --Δ Epelesker (talk) 15:24, 6 March 2014 (MST)

True. That said, .pngs tend to be drastically larger in size just because they don't compress files anywhere near as much as .jpgs do (by design). Also most commissions tend to be delivered that way (in png) and in absurd resolutions. My last commission came in at 6561x9779 pixels and at a whopping 183MB. So if people don't watch before they upload... Destructor (talk) 15:34, 6 March 2014 (MST)

Still getting an error on the Special:UnusedFiles page, however I have found a roundabout way to at least check what we have in the way of large files.

http://primusdatabase.com/api.php?action=query&list=allimages&ailimit=500&aiminsize=1048576&aimaxsize=5242880&aiprop=dimensions|mime|size

Will display details of any files over 1MB in size (of which we have a lot) by replacing 10485760 with a value from the following we can see specifically files above these values:

1MB = 1048576 | 5 MB = 5242880 | 6 MB = 6291456 | 7 MB = 7340032 | 8 MB = 8388608 | 9 MB = 9437184 | 10 MB = 10485760

Using this I have at least be able to go through the few files >5MB and remove unused ones that may be causing problems. Liath (talk) 08:51, 7 March 2014 (MST)

Ooh. Awesome find. Well done getting rid of the rest of the problem childs in the database. Destructor (talk) 12:40, 7 March 2014 (MST)

Heya, FrozenViolet noticed that the category Category:Pages with broken file links contains pages which actually have no broken links and editing and saving the page with no changes removes them from the category. I did some investigation and found the following info User_talk:FrozenViolet#brokenlinks. Is this something you can arrange? Liath (talk) 09:07, 21 March 2014 (MST)

Hey, hope I'm posting this in the right place. When using the PDB from my mobile, I set the site to "classic style view" or whatever instead of mobile, so I can actually see stuff as if from a PC, but after like 1 minute of browsing it automatically reverts back to mobile and forces me back to the home page. It's INSANELY annoying, is there anything that can be done to get rid of this(or delay this reset from classic to mobile)? For example, it has taken me three attempts just to post this here because it keeps reverting to mobile and forcing me back to the home page. Mobile version sucks lol. Mobile support in the core mediawiki is pretty much non existant. I'm not sure about iphone or blackberry software, but i do know that there are browsers available for Android (apps such as Dolphin browser) which allow you to set your user agent so that website's which use this data believe you are using a standard browser rather than a mobile version. -- Liath Knot.png Liath (Talk) 07:34, 6 June 2014 (MST)

Thanks for taking care of my issue! Citizen 13 (talk) 02:23, 17 June 2014 (MST)

Hey Destructor. I visited my Swift page just to check a few things and happened to thumb through the history. I noticed multiple edits made around nine days along deleted versions of the page, as well as Swixer being involved. I know you're a mod and saw your recent edit at the top of the page, so I'm contacting you here. Could you please explain what happened here? I noticed some users were banned as well.
