Hi There; I uploaded a file that you may find useful for overlays on your MCPD images. I grabbed it off the side of the MCPD helicopter above Kodiak and cleaned it up. file:MCLOGO.png Liath (talk) 02:09, 23 January 2014 (MST)
Thank you that looks great. I am not sure how to use the talk page, hoping this is right. and a Newbe question could you explain the overlay. I have seen some great pages including yours and was wondering how you did the background on Kid_Steel
it's done using layers in the code. Within html style functions is one called z-index. this allows you to set the "depth" at which an element appears on a page i.e wether it is behind or infront of another element. There is also a style function called opacity which allows you to set how transparent an element is (how much of whats behind it you can see. So using these you can get some clever effects Have a look at the code for the box below. Liath (talk) 23:07, 24 January 2014 (MST)

looks good valor, but I tweaked the layering for you a bit on the test page to what I think looks a bit more cohesive. As you can see messing about with opacity, sizing and alignment can give some quite pleasing effects Liath (talk) 19:44, 28 January 2014 (MST)
