Brief History:
Derik Faucher was born and raised in the state of Georgia in 1836. He discovered his talent and passion for the fine arts at an early age and practiced as a painter. By the time the Civil War started, his paintings were not selling as often due to everyone's concern with the war. He was no plantation owner, nor very patriotic. He just needed to find work. His platoon was massacred by a single vampire marching their way through the woods one fateful night. Wounded and sole survivor, after pleading for his life, and was given immortality.
Discription:
He speaks in a rather imposing southern drawl and carries with him a sincere politeness.
Powers:
Super Speed - Can move at speeds that appear to be a blur to normal beings. This also allows him to think much faster as well reducing his reaction time.
Super Strength - Can lift a Thousand Pounds without effort, and up to a Ton giving it his all.
Regenderation - Can heal from grevious wounds, and can replace entire limbs within a matter of days.
Heightened Senses - Supernatural Sight, Smell, and Scent. He is able to see what mortals cannot, can smell a humans blood from several miles away, and hear a pin drop from a mile down the road.
Monstrous Form - Can transform into a hideous creature with wings under the arms, a maul of sharp teeth, that doubles the vampire's physical attributes.
Dark Vision - See in normal darkness with perfect clarity.
Blood Healing - He can able to feed his blood to mortal or living creature in order to temporarily give them his regeneration. The effects last for Twenty Four Hours.
Speak To Animals - He is able to speak to the creatures of the night. He understand the sounds that they make as if it was another language, and they understand him as well.
Shape Change - He is able to shape change into a bat - or bats - and take flight.
Toughness - Allows him to absorb small caliber gunfire, physical punches and kicks from someone of equal strength or less, and the occasional baseball bat to the head.
Charm - He is able to manipulate the feelings in those around him. Such power allows him to make others like him, feel strong feelings of love and desire, or to even fear him.
Weaknesses:
Sunlight - Exposure to direct, natural daylight causes him to enter a death-like trance in which incapacitates him entirely until he is no longer exposed. This does not apply to artificial UV rays.
Wooden Stake - A wooden stake pierced through his heart will result in a death-like incapacitated state until it is removed.
Holy Objects - Holy symbols and objects wielded by an individual who's faith is sincere and strong will ward the vampire off.
Fire - He is very flamable.
