Background
Early Life
Not a great deal is known about Ellis' childhood. He was a genius from a very young age and decided to direct his intellect to chemistry. He developed a fascination for the the field of chemistry and decided to major in it. He found himself in a similar situation to biologist Scott Gamble. Both men were of the same age, had majored in a specific field and had struggled to find work in the modern day's harsh environment. And of course both would see no alternative when VIPER came calling for scientists...
Project: WaveMaker
It remains unknown to most of the world that roughly 2 years ago VIPER created a secret sect dedicated to studying the Lemurians, and potentially finding a way to take them out for
good. VIPER was afraid of the Mandragalore being re-activated and ravaging the surface world. They named this sect Project: WaveMaker. They had been scouting for potenial recruits
and had come across Ellis Weaver, an up and coming brilliant chemist who had been unable to find work. They immediately recruited him for the project. Specifically, Ellis had been assigned to studying mutagenic chemicals to create perfect marine super-soldiers to work in Lemuria. VIPER wanted mutant soldiers that could survive the harsh depths of the ocean with minimal equipment. He was joined by Scott Gamble, a brilliant Marine Biologist who was studying Lemurian biology to help Ellis with his super serum. They were overseen by Dr. Hidetada Hiyama, a harsh and cruel-natured VIPER scientist. One day, when the WaveMaker submarine was just off the coast of Millenium City, an accident (of which the origins remain unknown) severely damaged the sub and caused it to flood. Hidetada was seemingly killed, Ellis managed to escape and Scott was trapped in a flooded lab, becoming submerged in water and mutagenic chemicals. Ellis came ashore believing he was the sole survivor, only to discover an unconscious Scott washed up. Scott was miraculously still alive and Weaver took him to his penthouse in the city to recover. He saved himself and Scott from awkward questions from the authorities. A short while after Scott had recovered, he returned to Ellis and revealed to him that chemicals had mutated him and given him the power of Hydrokinesis. VIPER abandoned Project: WaveMaker having lost all their research.
Recent Activities
Unfortunately, the chemicals that Scott had been exposed to also leaked out into the sea, creating mutated monsters of the coast of MC which posed a massive threat. Scott had now become the superhero Captain Mako, and was diving into the waters to fight the monsters. Ellis had gone public with the 'discovery' of the creatures and had used his savings to open Weaver Labs, dedicated to studying and removing the threat. This received positive reactions and funding from Mayor Biselle and the MC Town Hall. He helped Captain Mako on the side in secret, even building him his body armour. Weaver was becoming interested in crafting and mechanics, but was too busy to pursue it. A year after Captain Mako first stepped into the public, the sea monster threat had all but ended. Weaver Labs was going under. From it's ashes Ellis built Weaver Industries, teaching himself advanced mechanics, electronics and engineering. Weaver Industries developed medical tech, phones, tablets and a large variety of modern devices to be sold to the public and private companies. In secret, Ellis began working on his own suit of powered armour. He was inspired to his friend Captain Mako to become a hero, and seeing heroes like Defender made him realise he didn't need powers of his own. He eventually succeeded in creating a combat power armour suit, and now flies through the skies of MC battling supercrime as: Titanator!
Powers
Titanator possesses genius level intellect but no superhuman powers.
Paraphernalia
Titanator operates a suit of powered armour equipped with various lasers, missiles and other weapons. The armour is extremely resistant to damage, and can fly at Mach 2 at it's max.
The suit's functions are controlled with a device on his left wrist.
