One of innumerable spawn of a Briah Lord of Chaos and cosmic monsters, bane of pre FTL worlds and early space farers in the Maffei II Galaxy. Like many of his abominable siblings the dragon Telirian was dragged past the event horizon of a Black Hole by a daring space ship captain and left pinned in a state beyond death for 100,000 years.
In this time his soul, trapped by the singularity, wandered the worlds and saw what was, what is and what might be. He pondered his nature, and the minute intricacies of all there is.
And then, through a miraculous feat of science and technology, he and his uncounted brethren were pulled from their prisons to be loosed once more.

Telirian landed on an alien planet to wait, rest and sleep. He was discovered by several interstellar agencies- including the Qularr who sent a tentative fleet to capture him. He promptly ate their fleet, finding the bio-ships tasted much like his memory of shellfish- not unpleasant and rather satisfying. He slept some time more until a group of heroes from Earth arrived to speak with him. He found conversation enjoyable after so long alone and returned with them.

Telirian has several notable powers, one of which is shapeshifting. His natural form is a five kilometer long dragon with eight wings- but he can assume a smaller form, of a ten foot winged humanoid. He does not need to eat- but can as he enjoys the flavours. He absorbs solar radiation in his natural form for sustenance.
