Rory claims to be a security officer, which is true, but also ambiguous when it comes to all the things she's done.

Appearance

Rory stands at a modest height, but her physique is athletic with well-toned muscles from her training. Her most identifying physical feature is the fact that she is devoid of pigment but for her incredibly bright green eyes.

Personality

Rory is very versatile, and that word applies maybe even more to her personality than to her skills. She can display strong leadership qualities, but also remain inconspicuously in the background. She may come across as hardcore and tough, but other times she may seem easy-going and even empathetic. She'll smile, laugh, and joke around but then turn deadly serious and sharp when things start going down. There's definitely some air of mystery to her, though it may be hard to pick up on underneath the surface.

History

Not much about the more shady portions of her background are known to anyone but herself, since they occurred off-world. However, the records that can be found detail her education and training at an academy back on Cindaria. From there she was assigned as a junior security officer onboard a passenger freighter at the age of twenty. Other crews that she has served on include privately funded deep space salvage teams and more than a few stints as a bodyguard to wealthy and/or influential individuals.

Past experience that she'll readily speak of include leading away and boarding teams, heading security, overhauling ship protocols, basic medic training, an impressive grasp of technology and operations (though she's not an expert), and extensive combat experience.

The parts of her past that she keeps to herself could be magically or psychically divined (with some effort). Among those exploits are acts of theft, murder, sabotage, evading authorities, bounty hunting, and espionage.

Cindarians

On the surface, this alien race doesn't seem terribly different from humans aside from having completely white complexions and equally white hair. Their eyes are typically brightly colored and their ears are somewhat pointed. However, beneath the surface there's some odd genetic differences. If analyzed closely enough, Cindarian DNA will seem to have traces of insectoid characteristics contained within it. It can be speculated that this is what allows them to have complete control over their reproductive systems and the impressive adaptability that seems to be inherent in their mentalities. What might disturb most humans may not be able to so easily shake a Cindarian. This adaptability allows a well-trained Cindarian to easily shift between stealth and open conflict operations, depending on the needs of the situation. Cindarians are also known to age only half as quickly as humans, living twice as long if they make it to old age.

Rory's race appears to be fairly militant in terms of culture. Out in the universe Cindarians are usually regarded with respect as a feisty, but disciplined species. Cindarian troops are prized for their combat skills, and in fact, mercenary services are a relatively major export of Cindaria.

Cindarian culture is harsh relative to human culture. Everyone's expected to make their own way, and those that fall behind are left behind. The concept of love is viewed more as a partnership where each person pulls their own weight, as if they were fighting back to back and each responsible for their own targets for the good of the whole.

Abilities

Rory doesn't possess any 'super' abilities.

Equipment

Biomechanical armor originating from her homeworld; it is stored within the stud portion of her right earring and when activated, flows out over her body like liquid black metal that hardens into a insectoid-looking shell. This armor has some handy visual camouflaging built into it and can absorb a fair amount of damage before automatically deactivating to flow back into the earring for self-repair.

The only other equipment she carries with her a majority of the time is a pair of energy blades and ricocheting razor-discs that can be thrown with precision.
