Summary
Brand is ostensibly part of an NGO corporation that works in cybertechnology, biotechnology and (not publicly known) xenotechnology. TBC's big project currently is offering biological modifications to less fortunate areas in order to root out most forms of common ailments, as well as providing cybernetic replacement limbs and organs to organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project and Paralyzed Veterans of America. Additionally, they provide logistical support in order to destabilize deeply rooted gangs, supervillains and warlords with "completely human" agents. The truth is that while the agents they provide are biologically human, they have been altered to near peak potential in small groups to divert brute strength with skillful combat, deception and when that fails, sheer force of arms through superior firepower.
Brand's level of augmentation is unknown because of her deviations from human bases prior to undergoing Project: Purity modifications. While she was half-human, there is some form of alien DNA within her, but she appears to have been extensively modified to be brought along with what was called a master template. Unbeknownst to many, including herself, she was extensively re-written to be much more similar to her human parent and the modified along much more predictable lines.
Most recently she's parted ways with them for unknown reasons and sought to claim her legacy in her nonhuman line, fashioning herself as a rebel queen. This came with a discarding of her weapons and armor in favor of a more traditional, 'regal' arsenal and more focus on her sorcery. Agent Brand ceased to be at this point, replaced with the Red Reckoner and her court.
Personality
Brand can be considered progressive, and generally accepting of the state of the world and its people for better or for ill. With that noted, she's very determined to be the change she wants to see as either a champion or an example. Her court; her most trusted circle of vassals, retainers and most importantly companions, consist of a faerie, spirits, arcanists and a cyborg. With her being the child of science and mysticism, she does not judge those who seek to join her cause or work alongside her. A lonely existence is an achy one in her eyes, and she's taken steps to ensure her court is well taken care of.
