Backstory
A draysha mutant, Irina was one of VIPER's test subjects; she grew up in Downtown and received martial arts training in Chinatown from an early age up until her kidnapping at age 14. She was rescued from VIPER's research facility in Alaska by Project Snakecharmer. Eight months ago she went to Romania to see if she could trace back her lineage, as her half-Romanian mother killed herself when she vanished and her American father became an alcoholic, eventually ending up in prison, so she had effectively become an orphan and wanted to see if she still had any family abroad. She spent two months searching and eventually found out that she still had family in Moldavia, a fourth cousin on her mother's side, who was not so pleased she just popped up out of nowhere, but took her in anyways.
She ended up working on his family farm, her superpowers coming in handy, but after six months of leading an easy life, she started having prophetic visions about a cave up in the Carpathian mountains, she eventually built up the courage to try and find the cave, putting together a team of ten mountain climbers and rangers with her cousin's help and after a blessing of good luck and Godspeed from him, they were off. The cousin never saw them again, but that night, and infernal roar echoed through the area and he knew in his heart that something had happened to them.
No one yet knows what happened that day, but Irina can now be found fighting crime in Millenium City under the name of Raven, thanks to the color of her wings, with a large pair of serrated claws seemingly made of a black stone, she calls them 'ghearele dracului', 'the devil’s/dragon’s claws'.
