Hero: Ranger

Name: Kiel Mardock
Bio:
A prominent hero in the 19xx's, Red Kangaroo was a member of a group of super heroes that primarily protected the country of Australia. Her abilities were often unmatched and she was responsible for several victories over the forces of evil. Upon learning that she was pregnant, she set aside her heroic escapades and focused her efforts on a new and difficult mission: motherhood.
Her son, Kiel, was raised as normally as any other child. Although fully aware of his mother's prior heroics, he was never interested in training to become a hero himself, content to have a normal childhood and a normal life compared to the often hectic life his mother led.
When Kiel turned 18, things changed. The Australian government had recently commissioned a new council for the sole purpose of locating and training new generations of super heroes, both to protect the country, and the rest of the world from various threats deemed too delicate for traditional military operations. These new heroes were dubbed Rangers, similar to the Council Rangers employed by local government to enforce the laws of those governments.
This new council approached Kiel with the intention of him becoming their first trainee and their flagship hero. Initially hesitant about the idea, Kiel refused. It wasn't until his mother's encouragement that he reconsidered and joined. He was provided with an advanced assortment of technological armaments and trained to use them very specifically, keeping collateral damage and, more importantly, casualties as low as possible.
Four years later and Kiel is now an able hero and ready to take the fight to the enemy whenever he has to. While, officially, he has no proper hero name and he has no secret identity, he's taken to calling himself Ranger, a tradition that has been adopted by several of the other trainees that followed.
