Character Information

Personality

A tomboy, but a cute one. Pyrexia is a computer-era child, always looking into technology. As such, curiosity is a dominant trait, and so is also her lack of connection with Nature and all 'ancient' things like myths and magic. That has changed recently, upon meeting her half-sister Efreeta, and learning the danger she's in. She's now struggling to master her own powers rather than relying on her (rather impressive) collection of guns.

Physical appearance

Pyrexia is rather small for her age, and some people easily mistake her for a boy due to her rather 'flat' figure. She doesn't care much; after all, being flat-chested is the least of her physical concerns: little horns poking from her forehead, red skin, and pointy tail. Other than that, her slender frame gives her great agility.

Aura reading

  • Emits a constant bright blue aura.
  • When in her "released" form, her aura can be seen even by untrained people.

Mind reading

Her mind right now is full of questions, about herself, her powers, the way others see her. She had always relied on her trusted guns, but lately she has learned of powers, dormant within her. Powers that are sought after by no-other than her father, a powerful demon. Should she trust those? Wouldn't it be easier to be rid of them? And how do people see her? As a demon? As a bounty-hunter? Are they disgusted by her looks? For that matter, is anyone attracted to her? And her, is he attracted to someone?

Likes / Dislikes

  • Likes: Guns, technologies, computer games, reading
  • Dislikes: Stakeouts, insects
  • Drinking: Rarely and only to celebrate big events
  • Smoking: Doesn't smoke

Abilities / Powers

Marksmanship

Pyrexia was trained by an old guy living next door in the use of guns from an early age (11). He taught her to use her own essence to craft bullets made of wind, without however teaching her the intricate works behind the magic. So Pyrexia has, up till recently, been using her powers passively, instinctively, relying on the firepower power of her guns. She is quite good, but a bit reckless and she goes more "bullets shower" than "headshot".

Elemental fire

Upon meeting Efreeta, Pyrexia learned of her true ability, the Elemental Fire of Wind, strange name for an even stranger ability. That power is passed from a generation to another in the daughters of certain witch clans. Efreeta's mother was from the Darkness clan, Pyrexia's, though unknowingly, from the Wind clan. Their father impregnated both their mothers in order to mix bloodlines, so that one day, he could claim those Fires as his own. Now, to protect herself from him and his cohorts, Pyrexia must learn to master her inherent abilities.

Background

Hey, so you wanna know a bit more 'bout me? Well, name's Jenny Miles, but only my friends call me that. Most people call me Pyrexia, that's my alias, my street name, ya know. I work as a bounty hunter, pretty cool stuff. I usually hunt escaped cons and the like. Oh, and I like guns.

I was born in Corn Creek, Nevada, in a crappy trailer park. My mum went nuts after seeing me for the first time. Guess that's what happens when you get a baby with a tail, red skin and mini-horns... 'nyway, the old coot next door always watched over me, made sure mommy didn't slit my throat or sumethin'.

Now, how did I end up all hellish lookin' ya ask? Bah, what da ya think happens when ya let a wild teenage hippie go to some flowa-powa music festival? Yeah ya got it: mud, joints and lotsa wild sex with "friendly" strangers. Just so happens me mom was a runaway witch who never learned she had powers, and my daddy, well, he's some bad guy from Hell, trying ta get a child from every witch clan. Seems he can fetch witchy powers that way. Don't ask me how, beats me.

Only learned that a couple weeks ago. Had been sent by the old coot to find my half-sis, the old gringo had told me she knew what to teach me. At that time, I was all 'meh', after all, I had my guns. Now I dunno: these news powers are pretty cool and handy, but the part 'bout bein' hunted, I dunno, not so cool, ya know.

'nyway, I found the gal's sweety, Peneloppe, t'was kinda easy: girl's a hunter too. Well 'xcept she's into hacking demons and other nasties. She took me to my sis, well, now I know I ain't the only hell-girl 'round. What's she like? Bah, take your standard gogo-dancin' type, ya know, bones and boobs? Yup, that. Big rack, slender, cute bum, and the usual hell pack: gray skin, reddish horns and a fluffy tail. Don't tell her I said that, she'd beat me up, but she ain't too bright. Kinda cool though. The badass style, can't be hurt or stay down long, bit Hakuna-matata on the edges, ya know.
