Power Idol is an anomaly in a world already full of them. The woman has several superhero identities that are all registered through her actual superhero name, borne out of trying to find a synonym for a person that is looked up to. We will be using a picture of her Kathleen Grant identity as soon as we can get one.

Biography

Born in Millenium City, Michigan, she was no stranger to superheroes and the various ways they got superpowers. She often consumed comic books in her youth and watched TV shows where they were the same characters, as well as the Hero Games whenever they came on. It was clear, though, that this young geekette was different from her ilk. She suffered from a mutant version of acromegaly when doctors tried to perform an operation on the overactive pituiary gland, it came back with a vengeance. It didn't take very long for them to figure out that the girl was a mutant who's illness was regulated by the mutation, turning her from a regular girl to a towering giantess of raw strength and power.

High School

A stressful time for her since she was so different, she started attending roleplaying sessions and more importantly, she found a LARPing group where she felt like she truly belonged. In addition, she joined the makeshift theatre club at her school and while her height and build was definitely a factor in her playing cross-dressing roles (notably, villains), she took to it immediately, the chance to lose herself in different roles fitting her well. Plus, she had quite the talent for it and costume making, taking a liking to cosplay though large female roles were few and far between.

PE was her favorite class - she was better at it than most due to her build and endurance. It seems she was made for physical activity and when her school decided to give gym training and regular jogging a try. Since then, she constantly jogs and trains, finding the activities enjoyable and becoming prouder and prouder of her physical prowess.

College

She was able to attend Millennium City University as an English major specializing in theatre and drama. She does not expect much out of this but she figured that, at the very least, she would be able to keep doing what she loves most. She eventually joined an improv league at the local student bar, where her talents for physical comedy were definitely noted.

It was coming back from another LARP session that she stumbled onto the Black Aces gang harassing an old man. Having nothing to defend herself with, she picked up a stop sign from afar and routed them away once they saw just how much one of those things hurt when they hit your face at a speed and strength that should be declared illegal. This is when she got the idea that she could probably be a superhero. She registered under the name Improv, thinking that with this name, she could change aliases whenever she wanted to, allowing for multiple superheroic personalities rather than one.

Against her better judgment, she attended the Metahumans: Boon or Bane talk and was hoping to talk. However, after Racer Red took the stage, she left furiously. Disgusted that MCU would let that talk actually happened, she sought to transfer out of the university. Her grades not being very good though, none actually wanted her around so she dropped out. Right now, she's currently looking for a job. Since she frequents bars often and an unfortunate incident in Club Caprice where a glass of what seems to be brake fluid and Grond Juice entered her system, we believe she may be developing alcoholism.

She seems to have become a model for a plus-size super durable line of clothing, allowing her to get out of her dinky basement apartment and into a gentrified neighborhood.

Aliases

Here are the known aliases we have witnessed Power Idol operate under and our impressions of them.

Kathleen Grant

"Not in costume? No problem."

Rarely does she patrol the streets of Millenium City as herself. If this ever happens, it will be because she is being attacked or spotted something going down and she cannot change into another character. This is the most serious she will be and thus should be when she is approached the most. She will often grab whatever is available to defend herself, although anything in her hands remains a dangerous weapon regardless of actual hardiness or no.

If she is actually coming out to stop villainy without a costume, expect her to use a great axe forged of a very heavy metal and two stop signs on the sides. The Stop Axe, as she calls it, is made to stop villainy cold in its tracks.

Anihila, Elvish Barbarian Princess

"Know the name Anihila, Warrior-Princess of the Shad'il Elves and make peace with your gods, for you will be seeing them at the end of my Verdant Thorn!"

Her LARPing character. Her weapon of choice is a foam greatsword weighted up to a superior weight than that of the actual weapon. While the sword will not cut anything, the sheer strength will send people flying or knock them straight on their behinds. She often speaks excessively loud, calling herself by her full title, being "Warrior-Princess of the Shad'il Elves". Whatever that means. The Verdant Thorn itself is actually a masterpiece of LARP craftsmanship, due to it being taped and painted boffer sword rather than latex molded blade.

Excessively silly.

Zetta, Savage Sentinel of the Violent Vale

"Strong women live! Weak men die!"

A band asked for a "bitchin' metal cover" for their first record from an artist she knew. Thinking there was no one else out there that could look the part more than Kathleen, he asked her to model for him. She did so eagerly, keeping the costume and crafting this strange, Heavy Metal inspired character who protects more... primitive lands. However, she rarely plays this character, preferring just to keep the outfit around to distract others via cheesecake and fanservice.

Possible indecent exposure incidents.

The Splendid She-Grond

"You as uninteresting as rival cosplayer! She-Grond leave now!... Just kidding."

An artist on the internet rule 63'd Grond. She fell in love with the picture and started showing up at a con in Millenium City as this character. Usually very appreciated by cosplay fans due to the sheer dedication of wearing the green body paint and researching Grond's horns to create the costume.

Kind of in poor taste to Grond's victims, but the costume is actually very well done.

Powerblade

"Powerblade, herald of JUSTICE~, here to serve!"

The (fake) heroine Powerblade (Name obviously taken by someone else), a heroine wielding a heavy sword made of Questionite. Capable of shattering even the most advanced of alloys, crushing the most protective of magic shields with strength that few have seen even in our modern age of heroes! Of course, if all of that were real... she wouldn't need to pretend, now would she? Clad in a patriotic motif most of the times and speaks in patterns that involve "villainy" being "afoot" with a battle cry of "JUSTICE~".

Possibly her most respectable identity - She is more docile and will obey orders if they come from someone credible. Which tends to be most heroes out there.

The Obsidian Executioner

"kill"

In another LARP, she was asked to play a villain. The utterly vile Obsidian Executioner was born. A crimson mantle, skull mask and blood-caked armor adorn this dreadful creature, with a weapon that seems more like someone stuck a large stick inside a barely carved triangle obsidian block. The personality itself is a mixture between a horror movie monster that can be unleashed onto unsuspecting players and an actual speaking role that revels in carnage. In short, stay clear.

While we have yet to see this one in action, we doubt that she would resort to this identity to perform heroic acts.

The Queen's Knight - Venus-X MK-IV

"Very well. Let us duel like gentlemen."

Actually a not-to-scale costume of a giant robot in an anime, it is piloted by the villainous but honorable Knight Oscaramis, who is eventually revealed as a woman and as the protagonist's sister. Since the character is pretty popular in some circles, she figured she would instead cosplay as a gijinka of the giant robot itself rather than the character, who is rather small in both stature and height.

Fuckin' weeaboos.

Profile

Here are general descriptions of her physical, psychological profile and meta abilities.

Physical

Power Idol is a woman through and through, even with her large frame and strength and her body definitely shows it. That being said, she often styles her hair depending on the character she portrays. However, we've found she never has short hair. At best, it will be of middle length. While she has gotten quite physical and has a few scars over her body, her face remains relatively untouched and womanly.

Lately, she seems to be taking her superhero career a bit more seriously, even if her identities are as problematic to the community at large as they are a boon to her career.

Psychologial

The first thing we have noticed about Power Idol is that she craves attention. Whether it's the skimpy outfits, the strange character choices or even her flirtatious tendencies, it is attention she seeks more often than not. Knowing this allows us further insight into the young woman's mind and more importantly how it works. She has often been rejected due to her size and it's really just only through accepting that she wouldn't change and in fact, reveling in it that she managed to shake off this rejection. Of course, being the centerpiece for the few geeks with a giantess fetish certainly helped. She still gets proposals from them from time to time. It is unknown if she has answered them positively or negatively but she still relishes the attention even if they are not necessarily what she looks for in a partner.

She does, however, seek someone who will respect her for who she is.

Meta Abilities

Her metagene did not grant her actual super-strength. She still has to work out for it to happen but it did stabilize and turn what was a future crippling illness into a great boon. Scientists have tried to reverse engineer this process but for now it is a complete mystery as far as they are concerned.

It is heavily surmised that if she did not work out, her strength would downgrade. In the same vein, if given access to superhuman training it is entirely possible that she would develop more than superhuman strength over years if not months. We also surmise that if a "cure" for her mutation were found, the stability of her build would immediately decrease and the actual complications due to her acromegaly would severely shorten her lifespan, if the metabolic shock wouldn't kill her outright.

After a few careful studies, we have also discovered that her tolerance for pain is actually far stronger than most. We do not know if it is because of her genetics or because of her strength allowing to endure larger amounts of pain than normal humans. She has been spotted fighting against Destroyer bots and soaking their beams with her face, looking more annoyed than dead when they began aiming there.

OOC Section

Naturally, everything here is OOC knowledge and is only here for further RP possibilities by establishing potential contact points or just for fun. Please don't pull any of this IC unless it'd be reasonable to do.

In a nutshell

The traditional huge ass amazonian heavily muscled female brawler. Also a huge geek. NEEEEEEEEEEERD.

RP Hangouts

Club Caprice - A heavily muscular woman wearing skimpy outfits seeking attention will generally congregate to this cesspool of a club.

Sherrera's - Definitely a place she will go if she seeks cheap alcohol for proper drunkenness.

Out there, somewhere - She is an active woman!

RPHooks

LARPing - What could be more extreme than a LARP on Monster Island?

MC Con - Are you a comic fan? Are you an anime fan? You might have seen her pushing the boundaries of acceptable outfits at the local con.

The Science of Duct Tape - It's obvious her sword is fake. Why is it so efficient?
