Pharos is a student at Halcyon Academy and a hero with powerful demonic and magical abilities. He is also a founding member of the superhero team known as HADES.

Origin
Wyatt’s parents had always told him to stay away from creepy men in cloaks muttering prophecies of doom. Unfortunately, they never explained to him that sometimes these people take off their robes and do normal things, like being his middle school math teacher. And when said teacher asked Wyatt to stay after class one day, well, he saw no harm in it.
He soon found himself tied to sacrificial altar with a very pointy dagger heading for his chest. Just one more reason to hate math.
Meanwhile, over in the demonic underworld a demon lord named Valac decided it was his turn to travel to the mortal realm and cause all kind of chaos. And, being a fan of movies like ‘children of the corn’ and ‘omen’, thought a child’s body would be the perfect vessel to freak people out. And looky here, one was just becoming vacant.
However, as Valac was moving his stuff in he failed to realize that the former tenant hadn’t fully vacated the premises. And when it comes to bodies and souls, this is what’s known as a bad thing.
The result, well, it wasn’t the demonic chicken El Pollo Grande the cultists had expected to summon, that’s for sure. Rather, the boy’s soul and the demon’s essence collided and merged. Wyatt had his body back and a whole array of powers to go with it, and Valac gained a new outlook on the nature of good and evil. Like that these cultists were evil and it’d be a good thing to make sure they were dealt with.
Once safely back home, the two spoke at length on the nature of their new relationship. Together they decided to become a hero, to rid the world of Valac’s demonic brethren, and fulfill the lifetime wish of Wyatt.

Powers
From Valac, Wyatt gained power over darkness, nightmares and demonic chains. Also, while Valac is in a restful state he can speed up Wyatt's regeneration and when Valac becomes enraged his power pours out of Wyatt as a shadow form that increases the power of his attacks. Wyatt also seems to have a natural affinity for celestial energies and is adept at magical study.
Some have made mention to other powers hidden within Wyatt, powers that don't originate from Valac. However the true nature of these powers remains a mystery, though they may have something to do with how Wyatt seems to survive impossible circumstances.

Pharos is a student at Halcyon Academy.
HADES
Pharos is a founding member of the Halcyon After Dark Extracurricular Studies group, a secret group of students who fight dark forces after dark. Lately, however, the group has become inactive as Pharos is the only member not missing in action or presumed dead. Pharos holds the Judgment card, and currently carries the whole HADES tarot deck.
Relations
Grandparents
The two people Wyatt at one time believed to be his parents are actually his grandparents on his father's side. He was left on their doorstep two years after his parent's supposed death and they felt it best not to tell him the truth.
Wyatt's grandparents did not originally know of his abilities or the true nature of the school he attends. After the incident at his last school, they were pretty much ready to give Wyatt whatever he wanted. They simply believed he wanted to attend the school because it is located in Millennium City, where many of his comic book heroes reside.
They learned the truth, however, during an unannounced visit to the school. After this incident they told Wyatt the truth about his parents.
Wyatt has stated that his parents are not fond of mutants, aliens or those that use magic. Though the latter confuses him, he believes their other hatreds come from a fear of change, saying that they still call Millennium City "Detroit" and cannot use the internet. It is for this reason he did not divulge to them his new powers.
Woof
Wyatt's faithful companion, a stuffed animal he has had for about as long as he can remember. Despite being a stuffed animal, Woof is obviously intelligent and can move on his own. Wyatt doesn't know how Woof does this, but he doesn't ask.
