Osprey is a street-level superhero based on Millennium City.
Having laid low for the last few years, Osprey has just started to make connections with the heroes of Millennium City.
While trying to connect some loose ends, Osprey met the hero Firewalker. After a few team-ups, Walker brought Osprey onto The Adventurers after assisting with averting a plane crash.
There's not much to say about Blake Kingston's childhood.
In fact, there's a suspicious lack of things to say. Like a ghost made material, Blake seems to have simply popped up in Millennium City one day already active as Osprey. The few close allies in the know are aware of the truth, that there's simply no real childhood to speak of. Osprey, as it turns out, is the product of a weapons manufacturers long time science experiment. One of Alcove Industries' genetic composites of various other people whom had worked with the facility in the past. Designed for infiltration and information gathering, controlled and monitored through a chip implanted at the base of the neck.
Playing it close to the vest, Osprey has shared very little about her youth. However, during a long term infiltration mission with a young up and coming team, the chip implant was damaged by a teammate, resulting in gaining consciousness and, suddenly aware in a way she hadn't been before, Osprey fled from the team. The intervening years between that incident and current times are a mystery to even Osprey's closest allies, at least for the time being.
Return to Millennium City
Upon reemerging in Millennium City about three years ago, Osprey crossed paths with Barbara Kingston. While the two has a rocky initial meeting, they eventually formed a strange sort of kinship, with Barbara being the one to help Osprey come up with the name Blake Kingston to begin with. Blake developed her suit, and continued to lay low fighting street level crime, until catching wind of a fellow Alcove test subject, King Kestrel. While he turned out to be less than she had hoped, she also encountered a hero named Firewalker during her search, the two striking up a fast friendship from there. Walker has become a trusted friend, and an inspiration to try and do a little more good in the world.
Osprey's abilities are relatively human, a combination of intense training and genetics. Osprey excels in hand to hand combat, staff fighting, and mainly trained in kali/arnis style martial arts.
Osprey lacks knowledge of most software programs, but has a decent handle on hardware and mechanical work.
In addition to that, Osprey has a high pain tolerance thresh hold, and a slightly increased immunity to a variety of poisons and toxins.
Weaknesses
Osprey is human in essentially every way, and is thus susceptible to standard human weaknesses. In addition to that, her increased pain tolerance can lead to some injuries going unnoticed to a point of detriment.
Osprey has very little knowledge of computer software and just, how to use technology in general.
