Galaxy is made of gravitationally bound stellar remnants. He can also be considered to be an interstellar medium of gases, dust, and dark matter; an important but poorly understood being.

Thomas Jefferson first encountered Galaxy on December 2nd, 1770. The meeting was secret and now classified, and little is known about the encounter. However it is said that Galaxy is directly connected to Old Glory I - VIII, and their Oath to Protect mankind.

The First Old Glory

Real Name: Sir Sebastian Kates

Alias: Old Glory (1776 - 1812)


The Founding Fathers declared independence on July 4th, 1776. The Constitution was drawn to protect the future of the nation. Forged from great sacrifice and the blood of honorable men the United States of America was born.

George Washington, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson realized that the Constitution was one of the greatest documents ever created by man. The dream was made for all mankind. The Founding Fathers knew that hard times may come and conflicts may arise which would threaten the foundation of the Great Dream.

To protect the dream they knew a protector would need to be appointed. Somebody that would carry the torch through time and stay Independent of the government: a soldier to protect the dream at all costs. With a simple suggestion and the ear of his friends, Thomas Jefferson convinced them to appoint Sir Sebastian Kates as the first protector.

Upon accepting his new mission Sir Sebastian Kates and Thomas Jefferson met in secret. Jefferson, gave Kates the Elixir which was given him by Galaxy. Kates reluctantly consumed the liquid. Thus gaining super human abilities and becoming the first Old Glory.

Real Name: Abornazine ("Keeper of the Flame")

Alias: Old Glory II (1812 - 1827)

Abornazine's tribe was decimated during "The Creek War". His people murdered, his family gone. He was displaced in a white man's world with no place to call home.

During his travels he became friends with a man known as "Old Glory". Abornazine, quickly supplemented him in his quest to protect the innocent and provide freedom to all. Acting as a skilled bowman and an interpreter they served for years together until an ill-fated night led to Old Glory's demise. Old Glory shared the secret of his power with Abornazine, thus Old Glory II was born. With new powers and a cause to fight for Abornazine continued to battle for justice until 1827.

Real Name: Jeremiah Grimes

Alias: Old Glory III (1827 - 1839)

On April 7th 1827 Jeremiah Grimes was attempting to escape the South. He was struggling to reach the Northern states when he was captured by an angry lynch mob. With the rope tight around his neck and moments from death he was saved by a masked Indian. During the altercation the mysterious man was fatally wounded.
His breath leaving his body the Indian exposed his true identity to Jeremiah. He spoke of the founding fathers vision and the quest to protect their legacy. The Indian's life fading fast Old Glory II told Jeremiah of the secret elixir that would allow him to protect the nation's dream. Jeremiah felt the need to repay the kindness of Old Glory II. He took the elixir and continued the fight for freedom; thus Old Glory III was born.

Real Name: Jimmy Lee McTagart

Alias: Old Glory IV (1839-1896)

Age: 28 (At Time of Recruitment.)

Jimmy Lee McTagart became one of the longest serving Old Glory’s. Nobody knows how Old Glory III passed his legacy to Jimmy. What is known, is that they were good friends until the death of Old Glory III.

As Old Glory IV Jimmy Lee McTagart personally saved Abraham Lincoln on two separate occasions. Using his super human abilities, Old Glory IV helped preserve the Union. In the years to come, he brought Justice to the expanding U.S. Territory in a place where law was seldom found. He was instrumental in taming the Wild West.

Real Name: Alexander Black

Alias: Old Glory V (1896-1918)

A former Military Veteran down on his luck, Alexander Black traveled the back country of the Western United States with hopes of starting his own medical practice. Like so many others he was lured by past Gold Rush Stories.

With the dreams of quick wealth, he changed his plans and spent the last of his savings to live the American miners dream.

As fortune would have it, his life was about to change. When a Doctor in town was needed. Alexander would leave his mine and come to aid those in need. For years he often assisted Jimmy Lee McTagart when his mysterious wounds needed to be treated. Alexander never asked Jimmy any questions and prior to treating his wounds he would ask "Was Justice was Served?". Jimmy admired his kind heart and natural ability to defend others; it was exactly who he had been looking for.

Alexander was asked to become the Protector of the Founding Fathers Dream, and the Fifth Old Glory of the Nation. Upon accepting this great honor Alexander Black Became known as Old Glory V, and finished out his days protecting freedom.

Real Name: Vincent Master

Alias: Old Glory VI (1918-1942)

Vincent Master, Veteran of World War I, presumed K.I.A. (Killed in Action).

Jury Rig while messing with his time machine mistakenly went back in time, and was forced to take a wounded soldier of the past (Corporal Vincent Master) back with him into the future. Horribly wounded in the "The Spring Offensive", Jury Rig healed the wounded Corporal, and returned him to his time. Unable to resume his normal life with a body augmented by technologies of the future Vincent Master was selected by Alexander Black to become Old Glory VI. (Serving 1918-1942).

Alias Name: “Nick”

Alias: Old Glory VII [1942 - 2014)

Guardian of the United States of America. The Old Glory you see before you is a 7th Generation protector of the Republic. The past Old Glory’s picked by the former, and this one was no different. Graced with protecting the dream at all cost, Old Glory VII has served 1942-2014. His intellect and skill were unrivaled by his predecessors. The elixir passed from one Glory to the next bestowed upon its host a unique and different skill set. Each having abilities that tapped the very soul of each and every one of them.

Old Glory VII, was the first glimpse into the true mystery regarding the 238 year old secret. Like all the others in 1942 he was entrusted with the elixir on the dawn of the greatest conflict this world had ever known. Old Glory distinguished himself valiantly in World War II and followed with Korea, and Vietnam. Unlike the past Glories, Seven never seemed to age a day. His body strong, his skills the epitome of perfection. He blazed through evil like no other.

As years past Seven became to challenge himself with even greater dangers. Pushing his ability and life to the edge. In 1962 prior to participating in a mission that would certainly cause his death; Seven proactively selected his successor Colonel Robert E. Straton contingent upon his death. As fate would have it Seven survived the suicide mission. Thus Robert E. Straton’s appointment to “Super Hero” Status was put on hold.

Several decades past while Straton aged, he watched Seven survive mission after mission and never age a day. This adversely created Jealousy and a heated relationship between Seven and the Colonel.

SPRING 2013:

Old Glory VII co-founded the Patriot Act with the assistance a Super Hero and longtime friend Lonestar the Protector of Texas. In an effort to protect the Founding fathers dream, Old Glory felt it necessary to ally with Super Heroes around the Universe. His proactive and visionary ideas were against the code established so long ago.

SPRING 2014:

Old Glory MIA. Presumed KIA.

Real Name: Robert E. Straton (Colonel U.S. Marines Retired)

Age: 41

Height: 7'

Weight: 320lbs.


Colonel Straton the current active Old Glory. The Eighth Old Glory to be dubbed Protector of the Founding Fathers dream. Robert E. Stanton was on tour when he was struck by lightning, and presumed dead. Fortunately, Straton survived the disaster and discovered shortly thereafter that he had strange abilities; Super Human Strength, Agility, Flight and the ability to discharge blasts of pure energy from his hands. The lightning strike unfortunately seared his eyes causing them to permanently glow. With his newly gifted powers, and his ability to draw and execute a battle plan Colonel Stanton was chosen to replace Old Glory VII, and run the upstart group of Super Heroes known as the Patriot Act.

UNTIL UPDATE: It is rumored that something fishy is going on. Old Glory VIII possibly murdered Old Glory VII and took the elixir a bit earlier than intended. Possibly working with the Villain Super Group “The Illuminati” and working to destroy the Super Group Patriot Act and everything the founding fathers created.

Real Name: Danny Nicolus

Alias: Old Glory IX

Age: 8 at time of time travel, 22 upon return.

Height: 6'1"

Weight: 168lbs.

A young child named Danny went into the future using Jury Rig's time traveling machine. Seeking adventure and the possibility of taming his own super powers, he left behind his past to seek a promising new future. Danny found only chaos and pain. He learned of a terrible plot that caused the death of Old Glory VII.

Returning to Millennium City as Old Glory IX Danny must prevent the murder of Old Glory VII and the destruction of Earth as we know it.
