History Flashes: Part 1
March 21st, South Africa 1960 - Sharpville Massacre
The 'misbehaved' smile was plain on his face but it never quite reached his eyes. Marcus was not, no, was never emotional but this had gone unchecked long enough. The local police force had already killed more then 45 protesters and it didn't seem like it was going to stop there. Ducking under a 'baton' swing from one of the police enforcers he reached for the man's holstered gun and started evening the odds.
December (day unknown), Belgium 1944 - Malmedy Massacre
When the german started shooting the POWs in the camp, Marcus was the first to reach the perimeter and escape. Although he had been shot more then thrice, he never stopped running. 43 men escaped the NAZIS on that day + 1 immortal.
November 8th, Sweden 1520 - Stockholm Massacre (Also refered as the 'Bloodbath')
King Christian II had been clear, kill all of them. Keeping the claim on the Swedish throne was too important for him and so Marcus had obeyed. Fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers had befallen his blade. It was dawn when he slayed his last mark and reported to the King.
The New Beginning

My current life, the one that started 31 years ago is not one I really wish to remember or even put to paper. But as always, I will record it as I have done all the ones before. In some way, we could say this life as offered me 'A New Beginning'.
I was born from a Jane Doe mother that died seconds after my new birth and an inexistent father. I was an oddity from birth. As death claimed my mother the nurse that was holding me fell to the ground crying as she looked into my white glowing eyes.

> Marcus Kidd arrived in Millennium City a little after the Qulaar incident.
> General appearance; Tall, athletic build, good looking, appears young (is look). But his white chin-length disheveled hair confuses most. So does his tone of voice, which is always leveled and never betrays any kind of emotion.
> He wears very dark glasses at all times.
> Is currently living in a very small apartment in West Side (Unknown by all except if you did the leg work to find him). Most believe he resides in a high price loft apartment in Downtown.
> During the day, can usually be found in the Harmon building (20th floor) where he as a small corner office for his company.
> Is supposedly blind. But has a drivers license and as been seen driving very fast, top of the line motorcycles.
> As spent the last 10 years in Africa and some records point to Asia before that. But a good research would show that he has traveled to nearly every continent in the last 20 years.
> Owns 3 of the most richest diamond mines in Africa under the company name; Diamond Sun Enterprises of which he owns 87% of the shares.
> Never flaunts himself and his money.
> Was only interviewed twice; Once after helping rescue teams search and recover survivors in one of his mines cave in. He was quoted "...Diamonds are the blood veins of Africa. But we mustn't forget that African people are it's heart. They are more precious then any shiny rock". The second time was by a small time WestSide Neighborhood newspaper. He apparently just walked in, sat at the nearest reporters desk and answered most questions directed at him by the entire staff (WIP).

> Kid Death is as of yet, still unregistered as a 'Hero' in Millennium City.
> He his a vigilente acting outside the set boundaries of the established laws of Millennium.
> General appearance; Tall, athletic build, half his face (Upper part) is always hidden by a hood that is drawn low at all times. He usually stays in shadows.
> No one as ever seen his eyes. EVER. He keeps them close in most cases behind heavy glasses or a hood, relying on something else to see.
> He was never photographed or filmed by the media. Mentionned once in a Pirate Radio show > Refered to as Kid Grimm.
> He is active mostly in West Side. But can sometimes be seen in the richer, more populated areas of the city.
> Was reported dead at least 5 times in the last year but always resurfaced.
> He doesn't seem to have a precise agenda.
> Will rarely take action against thiefs or minor offenders.
> Will use extreme force against murderers, rapists, all major offenders. Sometimes delivering barely breathing half-corpses to the nearest police station steps. Since his appearance in MC, as never caused trouble for the authorities.
> Very skilled with blades of all kinds, he was seen wearing guns as well but no record of him ever using them.
> He seems to have above human strength, speed and reflexes.
> Some of the city Crimelords gave strict orders to their subbordinates to stay clear of him. Something about old debts and rumors from the east.

> Marcus Kidd AKA Kid Death's real name is NAZUR'iel. He himself, doesn't know this.
> He is thousands of years old (more then 9000+ years). An immortal in all manners. He himself, doesn't know this.
> If injured, he heals quickly. Depending on the damage, in seconds to minutes to hours if very severe (Fist size hole trough a leg).
> If killed, he will resurrect. Depending on the damage, minutes to days.
> If destroyed, he will be reborn. Weeks. But will have to grow up like a normal child until his body reaches maturity (Where it stops aging). As he grows, he will remember who he is and what he knows.
> Is mother will be chosen amongst recently deceased women and resurrected. After 9 months, she will give birth and die once more.
> Looking into Marcus shining white eyes will show you the 'Exact moment and place of your death'. The glimpse lasts 5 to 10 seconds.You may see yourself or a weapon or a person or a place or everything, it differs for everyone. When you see it, Marcus sees it as well. If you see Marcus killing you, consider yourself dead. The visions never EVER lie.
> He can also use this on recently deceased but only a few hours after their demise.
> Marcus keeps his eyes close most of the time. He perceives the world around him like a moving, ever changing painting. Anything he focuses on, becomes colorful and the rest greys and blurs out.

Basic Personality Profile
Marcus is always very calm and some might even say a little too calm. Sometimes a little detached from the 'Here & Now' he his still very alert because of his 'Perceiving/ Feeling' the world around him talent. Very reliable in a fight, he might be aloof when it comes to helping friends with minor tasks or favors. Marcus is very friendly and loyal to the people he lets in but it can take sometime before he fully trusts someone with his secrets.
Marcus sense of justice differs a little from many MC heroes/vigilenties. He knows he lives in a 'grey' world. Nothing is exactly what you expect and the same goes for people. Where the CHAMPIONS might see a criminal, Marcus might see a very misunderstood and frail human. Or vice versa. This kind of thinking as sometimes brought him more trouble than not but he never backs down once he's made up his mind.
Talking to Marcus is sometimes like talking to a very old history teacher. His voice his usually just above a whisper but clear.
Powers and Abilities
Nemesis
200 years ago in the heart of the African desert. Marcus meets Mezera, a shamanastic witch that seems to know much about him. After a few days of chatter and probing, she swears she can help him find the answers he's been looking for. Betrayal! During a ritualistic 'sceance' she tries to kill and steal Marcus immortality. With no other choice but to defend himself, he pierces her heart with her own dagger. Instantly, her body and form became hundreds of crows that flew away.

Trivia
Marcus has not been in a relationship for more then 350 years "Last one ended badly, really badly"
He was once reborn has a woman. Upon reaching puberty, he lit himself on fire hoping to be a man in his next life.
Knows very little about technology (Devices, computers, highend stuff). He uses only what his useful and necessary to him (Recorder, bikes, elevators) and even then, he hisn't always comfortable with it.
Marcus Kidd/ Kid Death does NOT fight crime. He resolves mysteries. That's how he sees it anyways :)

Marcus as been around for a long long long time. He remembers very well the last 450 years of his life. If you have met him, seen him on a picture with your parents, grand-parents or even ancestors, use it.
He has worked for many underground and not too legal organizations in the pasts 30 + years. Names he was given or used at that time: Grimm, Knives, Marco Blades, Shade, Kid Scythe, Runner, you can also make one up for him.
He owns 3 very productive Diamond mines. He did and does still attend some board meetings and international Diamond Summit. Although his name is always kept out of the media. And those who heard the name Marcus Kidd can rarely put a face to it.
More recently, has been offering his services to the MCPD to help solve gruesome and horrible murder cases.
