Background and Origin
History
Emily Chevalier was born in (or near) Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. At the approximate age of two years her mother supposedly gave young Emily to a teenage girl who would raise her for the following years. This girl (whom Emily refers to as her sister) is identified as Nicole Alicia Utton who is referenced in the PRIMUS database under her alias Nau.
Comprehensive school records are available which reflect a history of volatile attendance and even more volatile grades. Emily attended various high schools, leaving each due to behaviour issues. In spite of this she was eagerly welcomed by several prestigious universities following high school (which she left at the tender age of 15). Barely a year later she wandered away from CMU with a bachelor's degree in theoretical physics.
According to the vice-principal at her most recent high school she was solely responsible for the creation of a controlled singularity over the school football field. The result of the event was a 20-meter-deep crater. Although Emily maintains the event to be an accident, her equipment was found clearly directed at the affected point. Various calculations and sketches describing the result were also found. When told of her newly acquired credentials, the principal responded in red-faced sputtering, but it can be concluded that not everybody appreciates her success.
Present
As of late Lynk has been making a living fighting crime with corporate sponsorship. News and media interviews with her following significant busts are typically peppered with advertising plugs which have become both her trademark and increasingly shameless:
- "What was going through my head before I took down Poe? Well, I'm not gonna lie, I couldn't wait to take the creep down so I could enjoy a tasty Triple Bypass at ACE Burger."
- "I'd love to tell you about my jetpack, Bill. I'd also like to mention that whenever MY toilet backs up Joe's Plumbing is the only company I trust. ... What was the question?"
- "It's very sad, so many pieces... And I mean she was pretty stupid to be walking around this part of town at this hour, but with O'Donald's being open 24 hours a day, who can blame her? Their coffee is made fresh every 20 minutes and it's only 99 cents for a limited time."

Without her suit Lynk has no notable abilities.

She's well versed and practiced in applied and theoretical physics, ion propulsion, bioelectrical . Her intelligence in these few scientific fields does not carry over well to other fields.

Clever - She is a quick thinker, but not quite superhuman.
Agile - Having lived in her suit for nearly 6 months operating it has become second nature to her. Paired with her natural agility, her manoeuvrability in combat is impressive (for a normal).
