Brief History:

The story of the Bloodline of Lilith begins in Ancient Mesopotamia during the rise of the sixth Babylonian King, Hammurabi. Early in his reign, Hammurabi sought to consolidate his power and influence amongst the neighboring city-states. Invaders from the east prompted him to ally with the city-state Larsa to oust them. After the invaders were dealt with, the Babylonian King turned on Larsa and did as he originally set out to do, consolidate neighboring city-states and secure borders for Babylonian rule.

During the aftermath of Larsa’s siege, a group of individuals were singled out by one of Hammurabi’s generals. This group of five, three women and two men, terrified the general, primarily because of one’s practice of magic, a witch. He had the five taken out of the city and brought to a nearby grove of oak trees where he had his men nail each of them to a different tree as means of punishment and execution.

They were left there to die slow and agonizing deaths. Five scorching hot days passed, and only one was left, clinging onto life. She was the witch. In her last dying breath, she prayed to Tiamat, a primordial goddess within Babylonian mythos, for revenge, willing to do anything in return.

As it happened, there was a war between Tiamat and her children, the first generation of deities. Tiamat was losing, resorting to creating monsters to help stem the tide, and as she heard the witch’s plea, she visited the dying woman, giving the witch a taste of her life-blood. She was immediately revitalized, but she had become a blood craving monster in the process by Tiamat’s design. The goddess neglected to mention the cost of disturbing the natural order.

Lilith, the witch of legend turned Vampire Queen, proceeded to feed her Immortal Blood into the mouths of the other four transforming them into Vampires and becoming the progenitor of the Bloodline of Lilith.
