Knockabout

Knockabout has lived on the streets of Westside for years. Like most streetkids, she went mostly unnoticed by the people around her. She panned, drank, and gathered with other homeless teens for warmth and comaraderie. When the Goodwill van began offering rides and free meals, Knockabout was skeptical. She would have ignored it entirely, but those who got in the van never came back, and it wasn't long before one of the missing kids was a friend of hers. The cops were too busy to investigate, so Knockabout checked it out herself. In hindsight, not her smartest move. The supposed Goodwill truck was a front for VIPER, in a search for easily disposable test subjects. Knockabout was caught, and used for a new Enhanced Soldier project. VIPER planned on brainwashing Knockabout, but her sessions were interupted by the Qularr attack on Millenium City. Free, Knockabout helped save the city from the aliens, and gained enough attention from other heroes to make her safe from VIPER retreival. For now. WORK IN PROGRESS
