History

Origins

King Canuck was born in a mirror Universe to our own, with the same people, the same places, the same events...although some of those events happened a bit differently, and some of those people (not all) are a little different as well. King Canuck himself is his universes version of Captain Canada although his life happened a little bit differently. Like our universes Captain Canada, King Canuck was an Orphan with 3 siblings, although unlike Captain Canada, they never went their separate ways but instead, stuck together. And after their powers emerged, King finally saw an opportunity.

On February 10th, 2002 the Canadian Revolutionary Faction (C.R.F.) was formed, an Alliance of young Canadian supers (Both Heroes and Villains) along with revolutionary factions such as the Hunter Patriots took the Capital of Canada, Ottawa, officially igniting Civil war.

C.R.F. and the War for Canada

The C.R.F. Would be born in the flames on conflict as it ignited the flames of civil war. During 12:30 AM on February 11th, 2002, King Canuck along with his siblings and an army of Supers and revolutionary militant groups seized the Capital of Canada within minutes, subduing any super powered defenders and soldiers. From there, a surprisingly short Campaign would ensue, having captured the Prime Minister in their initial strike, they had sapped the will of the Canadian Armed forces to fight, and it was left to the Veteran Super heroes and an elite few Steelhead Commando's to free the Prime Minister and stop King Canuck's forces from gaining any more territory. On February 13th, 2002 at 4:00pm, the Battle for Canada began, the Veteran Super heroes and Villains of Canada (as well as any other supers not aligned to King Canuck)faced off against King Canuck and the Canadian Revolutionary Faction.

The Battle was brief and costly, but the combined efforts of the Canadian Veteran Heroes and Villains wasn't enough to stop King Canuck's victory, having them out manned out gunned and out maneuvered through out the battle. But the Heroes fought valiantly, doing as much damage to the revolutionary forces as possible under those circumstances. Alas though, it was decided, and King Canuck declared himself the official High King of Canada, and reformed Canada's government, cutting ties to Canada's Allies, and abolishing the use of money.

Birth of the World Revolutionary Faction

In mere weeks Canada was transformed into the worlds leading military superpower, with the machinations of King Canucks brother 'Alpha Lord' in mass production, giving Canada millions of Robotic soldiers to fight along side re-equipped human, and augmented soldiers while maintaining it's Super powered branch as well. It wasn't long before King Canuck decided it would be beneficial to spread his New World Order across the Globe, renaming to the World Revolutionary Faction and turning his attention to the south of his borders.

Of course, President Calvin Biselle had anticipated that Canada's new King's ambition wouldn't be restricted to just his own Country and enlisted the aid of Doctor Destroyer (Albert Zerstoiten) along with his Lieutenants (Rakshasa, Gigaton, Black Talon and Menton) and Defender (James Harmon) along with his Champions (Witchcraft, Kinetik, Sapphire and Ironclad), giving them both emergency powers to defend the United States. After Months of plans, preparations and calculations they came to the conclusion that King Canuck would try to invade through Detroit, and so they amassed their resources their.

The Battle of Detroit?

On July 23rd, 2002, the stage was set for the Battle that would determine the fate of not only the United States, but the world as well. Doctor Destroyer had amassed an Army of destroids, mercenaries and even the monsters Grond, Mega-Terak and Glacier, not to mention several doomsday devices. And Defender had managed to amass many of the world's heroes, Such as Vanguard, Johnny Hercules, Nimbus, Goblin, Flechette II, Radion, Amazing and more.

On the other side, King Canuck had brought an army of Supers, Robots and Monsters of his own. Having enlisted the cloning talents of Teleios, Captain Canada had bolstered the amount of super soldiers to his forces and given him the monster, The Teleiosaurus, and thanks to his Sister, he also had a Mind Controlled Kigatilik in his ranks. Unlike the battle for Canada, this would be a long and strenuous struggle.

The two Sides clashed at High Noon on July 23rd, 2002, the balance of power shifting back and forth for many hours, and costing the lives of Glacier, Kigatilik and Mega-Terak within the first two hours along with countless numbers of robots, soldiers and supers. The battle raged indecisively for many more hours, leaving King Canuck locked in a battle of strength and durability with the monster Grond, and Alpha Lord locked in a battle of wits, tech and cunning with the infamous Doctor Destroyer. But just as things began looking up for Defender and Destroyers side, King Canuck hatched his master maneuvers. Suddenly, the Teleiosaurus began showing signs that it was getting ready to detonate! With this information, many of the Heroes and Villains allied with Destroyer and Defender began trying to wrestle the Teleiosaurus into the atmosphere, once their, the monster was remotely detonated, claiming the lives of the majority of Destroyer and Defenders Super powered allies, among them, the Noble Vanguard. After this, Control Freak (King Canucks Telepathic/Telekinetic sister) began mind controlling the Mercenaries hired by Doctor Destroyer and turning them against not only eachother but any of Destroyers other remaining forces. By this time King Canuck had successfully concluded his duel with Grond, killing the monster, and tearing it's head off for good measure. Alpha Lord too had successfully concluded his duel with Doctor Destroyer, and the two of them then turned their attention to the Champions who had garrisoned Champions Headquarters with a remainder of PRIMUS troops and a few surviving Heroes (the Villains had pretty much surrendered or switched sides).

Champions Headquarters under Siege, and a Sinister Plot

King Canuck decided that the Champions were too much a risk, even by themselves to leave alone and sent his Soldiers, Robots and Soldiers to besiege the Champions Headquarters, however Harmon and the Champions had armed the Headquarters to the teeth, and successfully repelled wave after wave of King Canucks forces. At 10:00am on July 24th, King Canuck decided this had gone on long enough and approached the Headquarters by himself, the Ironclad defense cannon was the first thing to greet him, blasting him several blocks away, only for him to return quite angry. Soon after his re-approach King Canuck tore down the cannon then the walls and entered the Headquarters, however unknowing to King Canuck, he had fallen into a trap...set by his brother Alpha Lord!

Seconds after King Canuck began his confrontation with the Champions and their remaining forces, his brother surrounded the headquarters with a nullifying shield (Like the one in the Qularr invasion) intended to temporarily cut off his brothers and the other heroes powers, then, he fired an Orbital Cannon onto the headquarters, in an attempt to kill his Brother and the Champions. He succeeded in one of those, as he enter into the rubble of the headquarters, he spots the bodies of the Champions, about two squads of PRIMUS troops and three young heroes. To his surprise however he looks up and he spots King Canuck push a pile of rubble off of himself. Seeing how weakened he is though, Alpha Lord quickly seized the opportunity and fired a pulse beam, rendering him unconscious. Moments later, King Canuck finds himself awoken and in front of a portal like device, which he quickly finds out is a dimensional transporter.

After a brief dialogue in which his brother reveals that it is his right to rule the world, and not play second string, King Canuck is sent through the portal, and into our Universe!
