Her mother was one of PRIMUS's most valuable agents, though she retired after her last mission, and the Great Dragon Flagellum. The two were in love since their (somewhat dangerous) encounter with each other in the deserts of northern Africa, a first for both, and after a year and a half of traveling the world, married and settled down in a small town in western Washington.
There they had two children, twins, Joan and Isabella. Sadly the second twin was stillborn, and the doctors were unable to save the newborn. After the tragic loss of one of her children, Theresa decided never to tell her surviving child, and raised her without that fact ever coming to light.
