Shane Mayen

"I want to become a hero. One who saves everybody. One who descends from the skies. To protect everybody, and to tell everyone that I'm here now."

Shane Mayen, born Shardis Licita, is the rightful heir to the House of Licita. However, for reasons unknown, Shardis' father, Kirin Licita sent Shardis back in time to live under the foster care of Timothy and Dana Mayen. Raised a Mayen in what appeared to be a normal ordinary and boring life, Shane dreamt of becoming a hero, to have a purpose, and secretly wished for a world apocalyptic event to kickstart his journey to heroism.

Currently, Shane serves as the lord to the Licita household, and has used his political power and status to take control of the entire Toron Corpo Empire. Currently leading a revolutionary movement, known as the Legion of Shardis, Licita has accrued a gargantuan following, who willingly have sworn their allegiance to him and serve as his soldiers and military might.

Licita's primary goal is to build an army to fight back and win the war against the Severens, and to save his Captain and fellow crew member, Dekani Price and Rinne Thresh respectively from Severen conversion, as well as Aurora from being auctioned off.

Of all the members of the Star System, Licita's name became the most prominent even among the ranks of the Valians, causing Shane to obtain the moniker of The Unarmored Valian.

It is revealed that in time, Shane Mayen will grow up to become SHADE, the Great Valian Killer, who is currently the Severen's most powerful assassin.
