Uncharted Tales is one of it's kind, upon launch it recorded a total of 10 million copies purchased. In the world of Yggdrasil, the game consists of classes such as: Warrior, Monk, Samurai, Assassin, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Summoner and Enchanter alongside a multitude of sub classes. It's an open world RPG that has World Bosses, Dungeons, PVP Battlegrounds, allows player kills, Guild versus Guild and even Kingdom versus Kingdoms. One of the special things about the game is that your stats are hidden from everyone else.

The game comprises of Kingdoms of up to fifty, these Kingdoms are populated by a number of NPCs and players who chose their starting Kingdom to start off. Once a Kingdom is selected, you can switch from it twice, besides that the only other way you can leave to join another Kingdom is if the current King of the Kingdom allows you to become a Mercenary. You will be let go from the Kingdom and become a Mercenary until another Kingdom or the same one picks you back up as a citizen of the Kingdom, there are benefits and demerits of being a Mercenary.

Only those who spend a lot of time and effort to basically just live in the game can rise to the ranks of many prestigious titles and roles that is decided by the ranking system. For example, someone who is ranked number 1 in their respective class, will earn themselves the 'Ultimate' title alongside preferential buffs and a special weapon designed for that class. Each Kingdom will have their own 'Ultimate' owners, mirroring all the classes. There are multiple roles from being the Kingdom's Armorsmith Grandmaster to being the Kingdom's King, that's right. In this game, the players run their Kingdoms.

Joichi Tomoya camped day and night right outside the venue where the game will be releasing their physical copy and also announce the launch of the game a few hours later. His efforts for getting the physical copy pays off and just like anyone, he skips right back home. Besides getting forced to eat his lunch by his mother, no other interferences was there.

He has always been a sword lover and loves western warriors, which is what he has played mostly on other games as well. Being a beta tester for the game, he simply loads in his save and continues on from there. That's right, the game already puts those who has tested in an advantageous situation- but it's nothing that cannot be overturned. Using his knowledge from during the beta testing days, he chooses the most efficient grind spots, bosses and dungeons to fight, leveling and gaining loot with a few other players who he randomly queues up with.

It was not till a few months that the Ranking System was introduced. Players scrambled about as they wanted not only the various titles but also the prestigious roles that you can be appointed as in your Kingdom. Players have their eyes on different roles and titles. However Joichi only has his eyes on two things. The 'Ultimate' title for being the strongest Warrior in his Kingdom and to rule it as the King.

The day for the hosted tournaments for the respective classes arrives and Joichi steals the rank 1 for his class. After gaining the newfound buff and special class weapon he proceeds on to grind and level up further, taking on harder dungeons with his fellow rank 1s, simply grinding his days till the next tournament which decides the King of the Kingdom. And the day finally comes where all the Rank 1s who wish to participate enter the brackets, Joichi rises up till the finals, battling the Sorceress who was the only one to managed to bring his HP pool below 60%. Everyone easily recognized that his level is definitely beyond and above what they expected him to be.

The days of the tournaments for the respective Kingdoms is over, the Kings mantled and crowned. The next update to the game is to be Kingdoms versus Kingdoms. But till then the only way for each of the Kings to come into contact with each other is through PVP Battlegrounds 1 vs 1. After each of the Kings go at each and everyone, there was only one who had a staggering 49-0 K/D ratio, that is Joichi's Warrior, Gareth Ashford. The world and the players both recognizes and respect the strength and presence of the character Gareth, undoubtedly the current strongest player in the game, earning him the nickname: Crowned Swordsman.

After a month when the players got really comfortable and used to the game, it's when they released the update that changes it all ....

Joichi, as per usual left his computer on during update days and would come back after his classes to instantly start up the game. During this update, when no eyes were watching, his game files start to corrupt, one by one each file rewrites itself and eventually deletes itself. His character file, disappeared.

Gareth blinks awake, laying on the roof of some building. Pushes himself up onto his feet as he looks about the new scenery, views he has never seen before. Drawing his sword from his back, sticking it into the cemented roof. "The fuck ?"

A new world, a new adventure. What awaits is the thrill of new friends, partner and threats. He may not own a Kingdom anymore- but still going to kick some villain's ass!
