| GENO's powers are very much like lich. He consumes his victims entirely then their power becomes his or temporarily use some of their power. If they are consumed completely the soul is sent to his realm.
His body phased through the spirit realm and reality at one while he burn into smoke. He had become a form less apparition of black shadowy tentacles. Then compacted himself into human form. His skin gray and hair whitened. His aura a black burning void that may absorb any attack and convert it into a blackened power copy. And shape shift slightly to resemble the power being used. He could move outside the existence of time and space allowing further powers like phase through objects, disappearing, teleportation, super speeds, create body copies in the presents of darkness or shadows. He could read minds (a power that he tries not to use). Disperse of black goop that grow tentacles near his target that saps the life out of his foes.
The only way to kill him is to destroy every copy by completely overpowering the void aura around them faster than it can absorb attacks once that is blown away the body follows. Water submersion scrambles is brain causing him to shut down into a trance of hallucinations and direct sunlight, holy or light magic makes him mutate freakier than usual turning him into random horror figures and lose control of his power.

Story is set post apocalypse so mutants and magic is common to see. Major city's are protected in domes or 50 feet walls. Home based in the Caribbean which is less in ruin from the apocalypse but uses aircraft to travel the world and see cities in different conditions.
And it came to past where mass population began to fall weak to an seemingly incurable virus. New technologies brought untested drug as a urgent solution from the corporation Eden. Majority of the population cured while 8% mutated into having superhuman abilities. They called these gene the god gene. These powers mutated further until the planet was in constant chaos leaving behind deep scars on the Earths surface. Few would rise against tyranny.
At around 18 Rave was an owner of blocks of apartments in the slums but some how he would spend all his money on his fascination with Ai technology. While neglecting its up keep it so it was a rundown but cosey ghetto place. He couldn't afford much tech so he would dumpster dive and repair with junk parts. He would also have several shady characters coming in and out for trade and several girlfriends working for him. Never something he acknowledged just happens. He would offer them a place to stay and they would do jobs for him. He would severely under pay his staff of misfit girls while sweet talking and swindling them. His only other male friend was a little kid cousin who did some of the chores and regularly wore a bucket on his head. He had no powers compared to his female friends, but he was a merchant, an idea man, a leader who could do anything he set out to do, they belived in him.
It wasn't until his younger cousin and only remaining family member died using a faulty tech suit that he patched together, that Rave started seeking out power over life and death. He began to modify his body with magic and science constantly bringing himself on the edge of destruction. He finally discovered a fossilized alien god bacteria in a squid shaped artifact. When it almost to control of him but he over came it. He bacame meaner and more controlling over time. Rather than the boy who use to just go with the flow of whats happening. And the belief of taking alway free will is the only way to protect. He grew into a dark lord now regarding his friends as servants.
His skin now grey and hair white. His body shape shift at will. He now resembles the god lich. He is not necessary a good guy but an anti hero who does what he wants like the undertaker he appears, reaps and vanishes. He as brotherly relationships with other powerful anti heros (like Hated, the banished son of Satan.) But even the Earths strongest heroes would dislike Rave but not bother to go after him for his few crimes because of the nature of his power. But they have that respect and understanding to work together when it is needed.
Rave first clone he made to do all his work went rogue and became more powerful than him. He would spend is days slacking off while the clone trained hard. Rave them funneled his unwanted human traits like fear into another clone in other to defeat the first clone. That new clone took the appearance of female. He thought it was weak and was disgusted. Ashamed of it was about to kill it but his wives prevented him from doing such and they referred to it as his only daughter.
This species of parasite has existed for millions of years. The male is the larger part of the squid and the females are the tentacles attached to it. The entire squid first fuses with a male host of the most dominant species of the planet. This is to gain the males DNA as the they fuse. He then carries the female tentacles hidden in his mouth they dectach and is absorbed to a female host of the target race. When absorbed into a female it start changing the female genetic coding to be able to birth a lich. The female target then becomes parasitically dependent on the male host to feed of stored enegry. The infection upgrades physical ability knocking out human imperfections, changing physical appearance to attractive. All to ensure procreation and long life of the species. Every organ then mutated to further parasites that may move around inside the at will. Now each organ serving multiple purposes like telepathic communication and GPS tracking of species.
This race is becoming extinct because it mock traits of the host species. When fuses with human DNA only a single lich is birth every 6 months. It is extracted as a soft white football size squid then the tentacles root into the ground and become black where another organism, the fetus, continues to grow in the clear shell head like a pod. The rare female fetus pods resembles a flower. The pods will only hatch when the fetus is adequate to 18 years of human age.
When Rave saw the first set of monsters that was he created he went into such shock and disgust that he wanted to destroy them but their mothers threw themselves infront them and convinced him not to do it. Instead he forbid them for interacting by teleporting his monster kids to another dimension he possesses. He continued to produce more hellish beast. Over time he would fear his kids as they grow larger stronger and smarter. Some of the wicked and some of the pure of heart. Some mindless monsters while others wise. Each with different traits and abilities. He had 300 offspring, 293 wicked beasts and 7 smart boys and no daughters.
He may summon his sons to fight for him occasionally. Raising them on nothing but tough love. His sons would grow older than him in a few years then stop aging in physical appearance. They would give him a hard time and he would losing ability to control them. But still they would not hate their father. New agenda would lead his sons on their own paths and break away. His most belligerent son would go on to absorb his mindless monster brothers in attempt to be the strongest. And they would have to destroy him. The sons would leave earth to conquer new worlds.
