| GENO's powers are very much like lich. He consumes his victims entirely then their power becomes his or temporarily use some of their power. If they are consumed completely the soul is sent to his realm.
His body phased through the spirit realm and reality at one while he burn into smoke. He had become a form less apparition of black shadowy tentacles. Then compacted himself into human form. His skin gray and hair whitened. His aura a black burning void that may absorb any attack and convert it into a blackened power copy. And shape shift slightly to resemble the power being used. He could move outside the existence of time and space allowing further powers like phase through objects, disappearing, teleportation, super speeds, create body copies in the presents of darkness or shadows. He could read minds. Disperse of black goop that grow tentacles near his target that saps the life out of his foes.
The only way to kill him is to destroy every copy by completely overpowering the void aura around them faster than it can absorb attacks once that is blown away the body follows. Water submersion scrambles is brain causing him to shut down into a trance of hallucinations and direct sunlight, holy or light magic makes him mutate freakier than usual turning him into random horror figures and lose control of his power.

Through out history the grim reaper has made himself visible to heroic men offering contracts. When ever the reaper is defeated in said contract. The hero body or weapon become infused with reaper metal. Giving great power but also comes with a curse. They become soul stealers which absorb life in order to be used as power. If not careful could mean great destruction and lost of life. The name Geno is derived from the word Genome which deals with breaking down DNA molecules. And Rave meaning a wild party of lights and crazy costumes. Hence the term GenoRave.
Story is set post apocalypse so mutants and magic is common to see. Major city's are protected in domes or 50 feet walls. Home based in the Caribbean which is less in ruin from the apocalypse but uses aircraft to travel the world and see cities in different conditions.
And it came to past where mass population began to fall weak to an seemingly incurable virus. New technologies brought untested drug as a urgent solution from the corporation Eden. Majority of the population cured while 8% mutated into having superhuman abilities. They called these gene the god gene. These powers mutated further until the planet was in constant chaos leaving behind deep scars on the Earths surface. Few would rise against tyranny.
Story takes us to the Caribbean where one young man meets the love of his life. He was an outcast and she was an older party girl. A dancer for a club and had just moved in next door. She was addicted to super drugs and he try to get her to change. She may have of ODed some time. When Rave sees the hooded figure floating he recognised it to be the grim reaper as told in stories. He wrestles with it stealing the scythe in an act of heroism to save his girlfriend. This weapon should kill any mortal but instead it absorbed itself into his bones.
Meanwhile, it set unbalanced to the natural order, which caused the apocalypse (Apocalypse: Demons escape from hell in large numbers so mankind launched nukes, the angels stood by ideally). Angels calling it prophecy though humanity continues to exist on Earth afterwards.
So the Reaper grabs his GF and teleports away. (She was secretly an angel and had to be brought back to heaven as she had gone rogue.) Rave would not give up his power and the angels realised the only way to set things back to normal is to try to kill Rave. The demons saw this and figured they could do the same but instead keep that power for their own. The grim reaper hung over rave waiting for him to slip up so that he can personally torture Rave for eternity. But Rave would turn over every realm to find his girl. (Rave rampages through heaven) He grew colder, becoming battle hardened. Unknown to him, It was the power to absorb other powers that that granted him angel ability from being with his girlfriend which is why he saw the Reaper and permanently stole the its powers.
Conclusion came that Rave made a clone and set him off to do the Reaper's work. While Rave spent his time doing heroics and fooling around with girls in a lavish lifestyle. The clone eventually grew more powerful and went rouge. A battle that Rave lost, but then Rave teamed up with the Reaper and tricked the clone, the clone became a scythe which the Reaper took. Rave and the Reaper Death became friends. And then aliens came to earth...
Rave is not really a hero nor villain unlike the very bad majority that continued to rule after Earth at the time. He mostly sees it fit to protect the Earth. He can easily escape from Heaven or hell after death. He has many wives on Earth because he gets bored often. Infact he has so much wives he forgets their names. To be his spouse they much first sell their soul to him, die then be remade into a new artificial body that is upgraded and may not remember their old face. A process which turns then into post immortalized slaves. This is because his physical contact with normal people will kill them in less than a minute. Alot of He will slowly learn to love. He is conflicted because people often only cares about the power he gives them. Most of the time he chooses not to get mix up in mankind troubles unless it's planetary. He is well known and one of the most powerful on Earth.
