The following is a template based on my own (new) style for character profiles. Not everyone is a great wiki page creator or layout designer, so I decided to make this rather basic, but stylish 'template' for people to use as a starting point. The examples given are simply that: examples. This is meant to be re-written by you, and can be modified to your liking.

I have given basic instructions on how to use it. The first thing you should do is go to the bottom, where you will find a white box with wiki code in it. Copy EVERYTHING in this box, and paste it onto your own page.

The very first thing you'll encounter in the code is the MaekadaBoxSlim. Click the link I just provided for more information on how to fill that out! Also, feel free to replace it with the information box of your choice. A list is available on the right side of the Main Page.

Background and Origin

Sub-header

Born in British Columbia, Mindi Maxwell grew up under the influence of her superheroic parents. Her mother, Lauren McCall-Maxwell, was an engineer and created an exoskeleton framework that enhanced her strength and powered her personal force field. Her father, Maximilian Maxwell, was a polymath working as a doctor, geneticist, software engineer, and robotics expert, who programmed and operated robotic drones for the team.

Mindi was always advanced for her age, reading at a very early age in her father's study with her stuffed panda bear, Penelope. At age 5, when she started public school, she'd been operating the tools for their machine shop. Her mother suggested that now that she was at school, she should take this opportunity to make new friends.

At the age of 6, Mindi's intelligence was evident when she created a robotic body to replace the stuffing of her panda bear, Penelope, but she was not satisfied. She tried being more civic-minded as a way to use her intellect more creatively, organizing a park cleanup.

At age 8, her powers started to manifest themselves. Her parents encouraged her to try to keep them a secret. She'd practice using her powers in private at this point. She created a costume she'd wear at home. Her parents dismissed it as her just playing the superhero.

Mindi started to feel different, left out of things at school. Her precocious body was starting to develop physically as well as mentally. She wanted to interact with someone like she did with Penelope, as a true peer. Having stumbled upon her father's research on artificial intelligence months earlier, she had an idea. She took his primitive research and started work on a prototype artificial sentience. She incorporated elements into Penelope as time went on, eventually revealing her new Penelope's artificial personality to her parents. They were stunned by the revelation and could see Mindi needed more challenges in her activities.

By the age of 9, her body physically matured and she interned with her parents' old team, using the moniker G-Girl. Using her mother's designs and her own improvements, she proved herself capable of defending herself and she actually went on adventures with the team as school allowed.

At this stage of her development, Mindi didn't need the education school provided, but her mother felt the social interaction would help her grow as a young girl. Mindi found her calling, able to actually use her intellect to help others, but started to see signs of something wrong in the team.

When she was 10, she discovered the truth; her father's notes showed he had modified Mindi in utero to make sure she developed the gravity powers to harvest her DNA to power his Gravmaster robot. In addition, her father had been betraying the team for years and using the advances she made with Penelope to develop his own prototype AI, Warren, to facilitate it.

Mindi showed her mother the truth that her husband only used her and Mindi as a petri dish to cultivate the biological component of his robot's gravity powers. Mindi's mother was fearful, both for her life and that of her daughter, and fled to [Campaign City] where she helped to nurture her intellect and did what they could to hide from her husband and the rogue AI.

Mindi was forced to pursue other interests in an effort to keep herself occupied and stay out of the radar; activities such as cheerleaders and organizing social activism from behind the scenes.

Mindi was age 16, in her sophomore year of high school when the specters of her past resurfaced; Gravmaster and Warren are active in Campaign City. She retook the mantle of G-Girl and with the support of her friends, she hopes to protect the city from her father and her creation.

Do not place the BR tag after the last paragraph.

Sub-header

Copy and paste the sub-headers, and rename them to your liking for each sub-header.

Powers, Skills, and Attributes

Powers

Power 1 - Put info on your power here. Be as lengthy as you like.

Power 2 - Not every hero HAS powers, of course, in which case the powers section can be deleted.

Power 3 - Just take everything from the HR tag above the Skills section, up to the "Powers" sub-header, and delete it. You can also edit the Main Header to take the word 'Powers' out of it as well.

Skills

Skill 1 - Skills are the things your character has learned to do, or has an innate talent at doing.

Skill 2 - These skills can be as mundane as painting, to more fantastical things such as enchanting items.

Skill 3 - If your character has no particular skills worth noting, feel free to follow the same directions as shown for the 'Powers' sub-header on how to remove this section.

Attributes

Attribute 1 - Attributes are physical or mental traits, separate from powers in most cases, though possibly enhanced by them.

Attribute 2 - Attributes can be things such as flexibility, or being naturally acrobatic, or good eye-hand coordination perhaps.

Attribute 3 - Again, like the last two, if you have no use for it, delete this section. You can also ALTER the section if there is something missing that you would find more fitting.

Gear and Equipment

Gear

Weapon - Gear and equipment are the things your character carries around and uses. These can be things like weapons and armor.

Armor - Feel free to use this section to name and describe the gear that your character uses, if any. Be, again, as lengthy as you like.

Gadget - If this section does not apply to your character, feel free to delete it. Also feel free to add more sub-headers as they apply, such as for a vehicle, perhaps, and that vehicle's statistics.

Relationships

Lover

This section is specifically for a spouse, lover, or some other form of paramour. Feel free to use any of the formatting from 'Friends/Allies' below.

Friends/Allies

Put any friends or allies your character may have in here. You may give them descriptions or simply list them. To make a numbered list, simply place a # at the beginning of each new line:

  1. This guy
  2. That guy
  3. Some chick

For a non-numbered list, put an asterisk instead (the lines are optional. Simply remove the HR tags if you wish to remove them):

  • This guy

  • That guy

  • Some chick

Or, you could even use a smaller sub-header for each person, effectively creating a small section on them, like this:

That Guy I Know

Put info on the friend here.

That Chick I Met

And here.

Some Dude at the Bar

Don't forget this one.

Enemies

Put any rivals or enemies here. You can give descriptions, or simply list them. Same idea as the Allies and Friends.

General Perception

Put here the way your character would be perceived by the general public. This means, the things that the general public would know, how the media would portray them, things people might know without ever having met the character.

Comments from other Heroes

To set up your CommentBox, in the code you will see a box that says "{{CommentBox". Under this will be several parameters, similar to the MaekadaBox. I highly suggest you leave everything as it is, except the name. Put your character's name with no special characters or spaces. Underscores can be used in place of spaces. Note: To save some editing this has been prefilled with the {{PAGENAMEE}} tag - this completes the required field with an underscored version of the page name it is called from

Once you are done with your character's page, save. At the bottom, your comment box will have a red link in it. Click 'Post a Comment' in order to create your comment page.

Within this comment page, you must place the following: <noinclude>[[Category:Comments Page]]<!--please do not delete or overwrite--></noinclude>. Within these 'noinclude' tags <noinclude> and </noinclude> also place any formatting instructions you want people to follow. e.g "Please seperate your entries with a <hr> tag.

Once you're finished, save and close the Comment page and return to your character page.
