Teleios experiment notes - human/plant hybrid

"I have to deem this experiment a failure. I am not sure what I expected from it. It was a sudden hunch, maybe a stroke of irony from learning the captive females name. I combined her DNA with several botanic samples, from simple moss and leaves my clones gathered outside the tower to some very exotic specimens. The result was entertaining my curiosity at first, a mass of botanic matter that grew seemingly randomly into new forms continously, as if seeking for a purpose in its existence. Over time, containing the specimen became a nuisance though, and the pollen it released started to have adverse effects on the clones tending to it. I ordered my clones to dispose of the specimen together with the body of the human donor. I also disposed of the affected clones. There is no place for hay fever in perfection."

Origin

Flora was discovered by a Steelhead patrol in the forests near Teleios Tower after she attacked a group of teleioclones taking a captured wanderer to the tower.
She lead the soldiers to a grove containing the captured clones and a flower adorned grave holding the skeletized remains of another missing wanderer, a young woman named Flora Bloomington, the picture on the ID being the spitting image of the plant creature herself. Memories of her origin are a confusing mix of ideas sprung from a fledgling conciousness experiencing the world from the view of a plant and memories that are obviously not her own, but belonged to the woman she was created from.

She was brought to Force Station Steelhead for study and vetting and eventually, when it was determined that she was not under Teleios control, allowed to go her own way, at which point she expressed interest to go to Millennium City, the home of her "mother".

Current Situation

As a being of partial human stock created on canadian soil, Flora was granted full canadian citizenship. She has been offered to trial for american citizenship as "offspring" of an american citizen, but renounced such a claim for the time being.

Flora currently lives on the outskirts of Millennium City, her home is a grove and garden grown partially out of her own biomass.
She is known around the city not only for fighting crime, but also for growing beautiful flower gardens for a living.

Appearance

Outwardly Flora resembles the human Flora Bloomington, although as a more "perfect" version of her. Her entire body consists of plant matter, but it's general structure is human. Saps are flowing through her veins and her skin is smooth like a flower stalk, yet soft like a humans. Her hair consists of grass blades, vines and leaves woven into a decorative style. Her "clothes" also consist of interwoven vines and leaves and are part of herself.
Her body is covered with varying outgrows, flowers, vines, etc. Those are mostly decorative, but also appear as a subconcious reaction to her general mood and environment. She'll grow blossoms when she's in a good mood, or thorns and nettles if she feels threatened. (She's also really popular with cats.)

Personality

Flora is playful and curious. She loves working with plants, especially flowers and anything that blooms. She does have a perfectionist streak that shines through with everything she does.
She posesses many of the memories of the human Flora Bloomington and shares some of her personality traits. As she also remembers the torment and death of her human donor at the hands of Teleios, she feels a strong disdain for her creator, and anyone hurting innocents in pursuit of their idea of perfection.
As such, she willingly puts herself into danger to prevent others from having a similar fate as her donor, and to pursue her own ideal of a perfect world.

Powers

Flora can survive in any environment that can harbor some kind of plant life, for example underwater or extreme cold.
Any damage done to her will eventually heal, she can speed up her own growth to quicken the healing.
She can exist solely on photosynthesis, although her powers would be stunted from lack of energy intake.

Flora can grow plant matter from her body in almost any form imaginable. Some of the things she can create:

Armor - When threatened she will wrap herself in thick vines and ironwood to form an almost impenetrable armor.
Roots - She can entangle foes in a web of fast growing roots or vines, rendering them helpless.
Pollen - She can release a number of poisonous or mind affecting pollen into the air to disable foes, send them to sleep or cause them to attack each other.

In general, her powers to grow plant matter from her body are limited only by complexity and size (which determine the time it takes to grow something), exhaustion and her imagination.

Additionally, she can temporarily dissolve her body into a mass of vines that crawl through tiny cracks or move undetected, but she dislikes this ability a lot, as it feels like giving up a vital part of herself.
