Personality

Hedonistic

Chet likes to have fun. If it sounds fun, Chet will likely try it. Also likes to party and have sex. And have sex at parties.

Argumentative

Chet likes to argue for argument's sake. This has put him in good graces with some of his college professors and has him at odds with others. Fortunately for him, Garou society has a built-in tolerance for his kind. Tolerance may or may not apply to his brothers, especially thew two Ahroun.

Prankster

While not as avid a prank-puller as he was when he was younger, he still finds humor in pranks.

Dissonant Serenity

Chet can be cool and calm in the most hectic of situations. Even when he fights, it's with a cold serenity that can send chills up the spines of many. This is actually the source of his nickname, the Feral Fury; it was given to him as a sarcastic remark when he proceeded to fight a pair of would-be bullies with what he was told was the most unnerving calm.

Gifts

Trickster's Elusion

Chet is immune to most forms of minor trickster powers. Such things that would change his clothing, change his skin/hair color, switch his gender, minor compulsions/suggestions, or low-key illusions will not affect him.

Changing of the Phase

Chet can temporarily alter the auspice of any Garou to any other auspice. The affected wolf starts exhibiting the stereotypical traits associated with the new auspice for about two or three days. He can affect Uratha also, but the new auspice conforms to the Garou traditions rather than Uratha. HE cannot affect any other Fera breeds.

Seduction of the Heart

As long as someone desires something, Chet can coax them into it. Unweaving inhibitions, Chet's mere suggestion can bring someone to do something they'd never actually do, so long as deep down they truly desire to act.

Staredown Showdown

By staring into the eyes of a creature, sapient or sentient, Chet can cause the other being to back down from a confrontation. Lesser-willed creatures may even flee in fear. This does not work on Garou or other natural werecreatures but does work on infected lycanthropes. May or may not work on other supers or normals trained to resist such things.

Accidental Confessions

Chet is able to snake his way into another's mind just enough to flip off a few switches, causing someone to just kind of admit to things when asked point blank. The answer will be quick and unthinking and likely immediately regretted.

The Truth Is A Lie

Chet, however, can tell the absolute truth with all sincerity and make those who hear him refuse to believe it.

There Is No Lie

Chet can lie without detection. Any sort of lie detector, whether machine or living, technical or magical, is unable to sense that Chet is lying when he uses this gift. However, it doe not make them necessarily believe him, just unable to detect that he is lying.

Theft of Oblivion

Chet is a skilled thief. However, this gift often masks his theft by making the previous owner of the stolen object forget they ever owned it.

Shadowed Presence

Chet is skilled at evading pursuers. However, this gift allows him to mask his presence, toning down his scent, camouflaging his appearance, muffling sounds, etc. to make finding him difficult. It works if he can find a place to sit still and hide as opposed to fleeing from his pursuer.

Unerring Pursuit

Chet is skilled in tracking prey. This gift, however, allows him to heighten a sixth sense to find his quarry. If he comes to a crossroads, he'll know which way to go. If his prey has found a place to hide, he'll know that he has passed it by.

Unerring Exit

A variant of the above gift, this allows Chet to find the quickest (not necessarily the shortest) way out of a situation with unerring accuracy.

Unnerving Calm

This gift allows Chet to emanate an area of dulled senses. Sounds are all but unheard, colors are muted and shapes somewhat blurred, scents practically disappear, tastes become bland, and sensations of the skin are dulled almost to the point of feeling dead. Reality itself becomes as a barely remembered dream even as one experiences it. Many will find a sense of wrongness just by walking into the area. Unlike his other abilities, this one is very straining to maintain and he can only perform simple actions while he does so.

Heart of the Changing Winds

Due to his trickster nature, Chet has finer control over his shapeshifting, capable of momentarily shifting only parts of his body into another form's corresponding part if he doesn't need or want to shift his whole body. For example, he can shift his teeth into wolf teeth while in homid form or his paws into hands while in lupus form. A side effect of this is that his senses of hearing and smell are heightened in any form. Also, he cannot abide silver even in homid form.

Werewolf's False Breeding

Unlike most Garou, Chet is capable of creating other werewolves. These are not true Garou and lack the Garou's dual physical and spirit nature. Any werewolf created by Chet in this fashion will lack any standing whatsoever in Garou society and many tribes may even put them to death. They lack most of the Garou abilities, are not able to utilize gifts from the spirits, are not considered to fall under an auspice, and are themselves unable to breed more Garou. They are vulnerable to silver, gain an increase of strengh, have an enhanced healing capability, and are able to shift into Crinos. As Chet is Ragabash, any of these pseudo-werewolves created by him will involuntarily shift to Crinos form during the new moon and the nights immediately preceding and following it. If Chet attempts this process on a Garou kinfolk, the process has a great chance of failing, but if it succeeds, the result will have all the abilities of a true Garou, though there may still be social stigmas depending on tribe. Chet's bite, with full intention to transform his victim, is required for this process.

Touch of the Gremlin

By merely touching a mechanical object, Chet can set it up for failure. The object doesn't necessarily mess up right then, though, as it will fail at a time in which it's inconvenient for it to do so.

Lock Whisperer

Chet has a way with locks and other devices designed to keep him out of places. Just fiddling with them will tend to undo them or break them or otherwise remove them as an obstruction. If he has tools, the job goes faster. Most alarms will not be tripped either.

Data Reading

Chet is able to perceive data in media storage devices or running through cables as if he were reading a book or watching a video or listening to audio. He is also capable of perceiving data in the air, but this takes much more focus and he tends to block everything else out when doing so.

Universal Adaptation

No matter how illogical the connection, Chet can connect any piece of technology to any other. Operating systems become no issue, nor do connectors... or lack thereof. If he so desired, he could download an old Atari cartridge wirelessly onto his smartphone. Chet's smartphone, in his hands, is pretty much a hand-held supercomputer.

Long-Distance Calling

Chet can communicate a message across any distance on planet Earth or in Earth's orbit. This message is one-way and takes the form of nearby machines conveying the message in their own way. Stereos, phones, computers, and such machines and such will speak and print the messages over speakers, printers, and screens. If such devices are not present, alarms will flare, microwaves will beep, and other such things will announce that a message is incoming. Chet needs no device of his own to send this message.

Technochaos

Chet can cause all machines in a small area (for instance a room) to just go nuts. Phones ring, printers print gibberish or insults or lewd ASCII art, computers become insolent with every task someone attempts to perform on them, cell phones send themselves inane jokes or crude insults, alarms go off, et cetera. Chet can maintain this as long as he remains in the room, but when he leaves it fades off within a few minutes.

Vehicular Collision Sense

When driving a vehicle, Chet gains a sort of sixth sense that allows him to have instinctual grasp of spatial positioning. Thus, he doesn't usually need to slow down to avoid obstacles due to perception limitations.

Industrial Native

Due to Chet's connections with the world of humankind and their industrial world, Chet is naturally resistant to most toxins and other such hazards. This includes toxic waste and nuclear radiation. Poisons and toxins with a strong will behind them, such as those wielded by a superbeing, are much more likely to affect him.

City Walker

Due to the nature of the Glass Walkers' ties to the cities, Chet is able to enter the Umbra easier than most Garou in places where it is thicker due to industrializing, such as a laboratory or shopping mall.

Null Moon

Band

Null Moon was a horror punk band in Seattle formed by five young garou. The band catered to both human and garou audiences, though writing and performing many songs that only make sense to those familiar with garou society, especially Glass Walkers. The band went on indefinite hiatus when its members went on to colleges spread out across the United States.
