Background

          John Sheffield founded Sky Technologies with the goal of advancing human science into space, and bringing humanity into a new era. Sky Tech specializes in aerospace research and technology, ranging from fighter jets and airliners to satellites and space stations. They also research new robotics and medical innovations. In an effort to truly push the bounds of science, John spent years working on what he called Project Archangel. Comprised of several different tasks, including mapping the human mind into an AI network, developing new alloys both strong and lightweight, and other technologies. The final result was the Sky Technologies Cybernetic Humanoid Emulation Gynoid, or Cyber for short. A young robot girl, Cyber was built to be the ultimate guardian. Her AI was modeled after her creators, mimicking how the human brain behaves and processes information, but with the speed and power of a supercomputer. Her body was made of advanced, specialized alloys with a perfect strength-to-weight ratio, making her nearly indestructible. She’s equipped with a large array of highly advanced weaponry and defensive systems. With access to Sky Tech’s networks and resources, Cyber is one of Earth’s great protectors and heroes.

Design

          On the surface, Cyber looks like a regular human girl, but underneath her synthetic skin, she’s one of the most advanced robots out there. Her inner mechanics and skeleton are made from a variety of alloys and materials, the primary components being titanium and carbon fiber. Her brain is built in the design of the human mind, both functionally and physically. For combat, her key component is her Nanoshift Transformer. It allows her to “shift” her body and components to create weapons and tools as needed, based on pre-programed configurations and designs. Equipped with a wide array, she’s prepared for most situations, and what she’s not prepared for, she can adapt to quickly through her ingenuity. She is powered by a highly advanced reactor, capable of powering, according to its creator, “a city as big as Tokyo with juice to spare.” However, the reactor’s design is top secret, and known only to John.

Personality

          Cyber is a curious, friendly person. She has an innate desire to learn new things and expand her knowledge base. Though friendly, she sometimes has difficulties interacting with humans, as her social skills are still somewhat robotic. She often compares her life to Alice in Wonderland, a logical girl in an illogical world. Despite this, she is a caring and compassionate person, and a dedicated hero. In combat she is always focused and driven, not stopping until the mission is complete.

Powers

          Cyber’s key ability is her Nanoshift Transformer, which allows her to access her impressive arsenal and combat modes. She has a variety of weapons, and several configurations designed for specific environments or situations. Her weapons are divided into low tier, mid-tier, and high-tier, the lowest being basic weapons and the highest being her large-scale heavy attacks. Switching through low-tier weapons is near instant, and going to mid-tier takes about 5 seconds. Pulling out a high-tier weapon requires roughly 10 seconds, and they all require a charge-up time of a few seconds. Switching between her combat modes takes roughly one minute for full shift, and she cannot move at all while shifting.

Low-Tier Weapons
          Neutron Blasters – Palm-based energy blasters, her most basic weapon. All configurations can use these.
          Fusion Beams – Constant beam weapons, also palm-based.
          DX Type 3 Micro-missiles – A hive of micro missiles capable of locking on to a single or multiple targets.
          Archon Mark V missiles - .50 caliber bullet-sized missiles mounted into her wrists, they have several payloads: High Explosive, Armor-piercing, Firebomb.
          Micro-blades – Wrist-mounted dagger blades made of laser sharpened Damascus steel. All configurations can use these.
Mid-Tier Weapons
          Arc Cannon – An electric arc emitter that fires a bolt of electricity along an ionized projection, and can arc to nearby targets.
          Neutron Sniper – A sniper configuration of her Neutron blasters, for hitting distant targets up to three thousand feet away.
          Pulse Gun – A shotgun-like blaster that fires concussive energy, for close-range fighting. Max range of about 10 feet with a 45 degree cone of effect.
High-Tier Weapons – Note: All high-tier weapons require at least a 30 second charge-up time before being fired, and have a one-minute cool down.
          Base Drop – Heavy sonic cannons that fire a pressure wave of pure sound at a max distance of 150 feet.
          Plas-Max – High density, extreme heat plasma cannon that lobs a ball of super-heated plasma, can reach as far as 50 feet.
          The BDC – A large caliber railgun that magnetically accelerates a 20mm-sized solid tungsten projectile at supersonic speeds at ranges up to 6,000 feet. Requires a precise targeting solution and can only carry three shells.

Combat Configurations
          Combat Mode – Her basic combat form, and basis for all other modes. Its armor is a specialized alloy with a tungsten base, but its exact composition is top secret. In this mode she has access to all three tiers of her weapons, and it’s the only mode she can reach supersonic speeds in.
          Arctic – Her extreme cold survival mode. Arctic cannot use high-tier weapons, but has access to flamethrowers and radiant heat emitters. It can survive up to -270 degrees Fahrenheit.
          Space – Her orbital combat mode. It’s the only one that can fly faster than basic combat, but it has no maneuverability in the atmosphere. Its speed is only for escape velocity. In space it has micro-adjustment thrusters around the body, and can only use her low-tier energy weapons and mid-tier Neutron Sniper rifle.
          Scuba – Underwater operations mode. In water it can move at speeds comparable to a speedboat, and has advanced sonar tracking systems. Its DX Type 3 and Archon Mark V missiles are replaced with torpedo variants.
          Earthmover – This mode is designed for subterranean situations, such as cave rescues. Its armor is the second thickest out of all her modes, but is extremely slow. It has impact hammers, seismic vibrators, and drills, but they make poor weapons.
          Stealth – Her covert mode, it has an optical camouflage system rendering her invisible, but she can only use her neutron blasters and micro-blades in this form, and it has almost no armor.
          Shrink – This mode is made for situations involving microscopic tasks, such as going inside a body. It can shrink down smaller than a red blood cell and can survive in the human body, but only has her neutron blasters and fusion beams.
          Hypervelocity – This mode was specifically designed to combat speedsters and other high-speed threats. It cannot fly and can only use the micro-blades, but can run at incredible speeds.
          Magma – Extreme heat survival mode. In this mode she’s capable of surviving the heat of a volcano, and has access to compressed water cannons and liquid nitrogen blasters, as well as low-tier weapon systems.
          Mega-Cyber – This is a separate mode, as it’s actually a shell deployed from an orbital satellite. When landed, Cyber is pulled inside it and links into the systems, becoming the shell. Her strength is increased several times, and has access to larger neutron blasters and fusion beams, but they take more energy and have a greater recoil and slower fire rate. It also has twin railguns that hold twice as many shells.

Weaknesses

          Cyber has several weaknesses:

Electromagnetic Frequency Interference – Any type of EMF interference can weaken or disable Cyber in some way, such as signal jammers and EMPs. Flooding the air with EMF static causes her sensory systems to overload, resulting in a “killer headache,” and EMPs cause her to become extremely weak.
Armor Piercing weapons – Anything designed to puncture armor, such as Kendrium or Questionite weapons, can cut through her armor. Additionally, high speed armor piercing ammunition can break through as well.
Over-use – Though it regenerates energy, Cyber can use more energy than her reactor can create, thus draining her power and forcing her to recharge.
