Origin of Crow
The Dark Spirit
Zeke Crowsky and his friend Candace Felspar were two ordinary people. The two had been friends practically since birth. But then Candace started to change; She became aggressive and agitated all the time, took pleasure in stealing, and eventually started up her own Gang. Zeke discovered that Candace had been possessed by a Dark Spirit from the 1850s of one of America's more ruthless criminals.
He wanted his friend back and decided to look for a way to exorcise the spirit from Candace in the Great Beast Bookstore. Unfortunately he stumbled upon a forbidden tomb which had been used by Luther Black himself to create the Plane of Existence in Qliphoth to siphon the Kings' power. Without knowing what he'd done, Zeke was absorbed into the Bleak Realm of Qliphoth and lay at the mercy of the Heart in Man's Dementia.
Qliphothic Conditioning
For a time, Zeke slowly began to loose his sanity and absorb the chaos energy around him. He would be tossed and thrown for the amusement of the King until his mind was absolute putty and his former self would be but a forgotten memory. When the Heroes of Earth traveled to Qliphoth to stop Luther Black, Crow would make his escape back to Earth. Everything was a blur and just so amusing to him. He was sadistic in his behavior and would make little sense in any of his actions. Endangering people only to save them again. He was a loose cannon who could not be held down long enough to bind. Not until he met people like himself in Wit's End, where he served under the hand of Mistress Charming Demise.
Rise of The Phoenix
On another trip back to Qliphoth to destroy the plain of existence and keep it from entering Earth's dimension, Crow's powers were severed as a result of the Dark Anchors vanishing. His mind had become a little more clear and he missed the power. In an effort to regain something, he preformed a dangerous ritual with Charming and was burned alive. From his ashes he was reborn as The Phoenix. With his new powers he was near-immortal; Death was but a minor inconvenience. He wielded the power of Fire and all it's glory. And once again, insanity set in as his mind was lit ablaze both literally and metaphorically. He wanted to do nothing but baptize the world in fire.
The New Mistress
When Wit's End vanished and Charming Demise with it, Phoenix was lost. He wandered aimlessly, burning bits of the world in a mindless habit. Fortune struck the nomadic bird when he stumbled upon Tsarina Morazov. He took to her side as his knew Mistress, vowing not to loose her like he lost his previous Mistress.
