Senses

Bessie has enhanced senses of smell and hearing, equivalent to those of a normal cow (her sense of smell is less developed, as her nasal cavity isn't as large). She can detect and distinguish between the scents of different individuals and even track by scent. Actual stats will be added later.

.55 Cal Brahma Pistols

All of these powers share an Obvious Accessible Focus: They are ammunition types for Bessie's custom revolvers. They each individually have a required component (the bullet itself), which must be crafted during down time.

Lockout: Special - Bessie can have up to 12 rounds equipped at any one time (6 per gun) limiting her to use of 2 powers without reloading. Changing ammo type with shots remaining either takes a standard action (ignoring Fast Draw skill) or causes her to lose unexpended ammunition in the weapon.

Complications

  • Distinctive Features: Bessie is an 8'4" anthropomorphic cow. Not notorious for blending in under almost any circumstances.
  • Berserk: Bessie's stampede instinct triggers when directly confronted with a phobic trigger. Rather than locking down, she will uncontrollably flee from the trigger, attacking anyone who gets in her way.

    • Frequency: Uncommon -- Bessie's reaction varies depending on the carcinogenic qualities and how directly exposed she is. Secondhand smoke is treated as a moderate complication, for example.
    • Intensity: Total (+Special) -- Bessie's Berserk complication is triggered when this occurs. Regaining control of a Berserk state takes precedence over recovering from her phobia, and once that is done, she will become catatonic until a successful EGO roll at -5 is made.

    • Very Frequent, Minor - Bessie has limited social exposure, and is easily confused or misled in social situations.
  • Social Complication: Functonally Illiterate
    • Bessie's literacy is currently limited to a 3rd grade reading, except regarding terms frequently used in genetic research papers, which she can read and understand as well as any tenured professor.
