On December 28th, 2013, a plane enroute to Brazil experienced engine problems and crashed. The entire crew, with the exception of the hero Stopmotion, perished. Emma Mason, also known as Chance, was a passenger on the plane. She is survived by her family: her father, Kurt Mason, also known as the hero Validus, and her mother, Joanna Mason.
