Apes are Old World anthropoid mammals, more specifically a clade of tailless catarrhine primates, belonging to the biological superfamily Hominoidea. The apes are native to Africa and South-east Asia. Some examples include Gorillas, Bonobos, Chimpanzees, Humans and Orangutans.
