Dedication. Loyalty. Resolve. These make a formidable person. Imbue that same person with invulnerability, and that person becomes a force to be reckoned with. Carter Williams is Captain Adamant, and he strives to be this person. A former soldier who wears a nigh-invincible suit of armor, Captain Adamant is a recent addition to the ranks of superheroes in Millennium City. The phrase "Iron Will" has seldom found a better personification. The press calls him the Unbreakable Man, and sensationalism notwithstanding, it's true.


But dedication, loyalty, and resolve are not always virtues...

  • Heroic Build - Captain Adamant is a tall, muscular man. In part, this is just the way he is. But his Olympian physique is, in large part, a result of rigorous exercise and training.
  • Hunk - He's big, brawny, and fairly handsome. A manly man who grooms himself fairly well, and wears clothing that tends to accentuate his build on the rare occasions he puts an outfit together.
  • Carpet Of Virility - Though he tries to keep a smooth face and a short head of hair, the rest of Carter is not so cleanly shaven.
