Background and Origin
What happens when a human sorceress and a fallen angel trying to redeem himself get together? Azrael happens. Azrael was born on earth a normal human child, not knowing much about his father and generally living a normal life. His angelic or demonic powers began to manifest as he got older. At first it was particularly scary. He began to hear and feel people's thoughts and emotions. Thinking he was going insane he spoke to his mother of this, she revealed to him that his father's name is Therakiel and that she was a powerful sorceress and was trying to help Therakiel redeem himself but he lost patience with this route and she was replaced by Valerian Scarlet. Hoping that Azrael would remain normal mortal human, she never mentioned any of this information to him. As Azrael became of age his powers began to fully manifest and his mother helped him unlock them further and gave him her book of forbidden knowledge. Azrael's mother told him of how his father was trying to get back into heaven and in doing so would destroy creation as we know it. In his quest to stop his Father, Azrael also learned of the evil entities known as the King's of Edom and Shadow Destroyer and has vowed to stop them from destroying our world as well.
Powers, Skills, and Attributes
Powers
Being a Nephilim, Azrael transcends beyond human power. His angelic nature allows him to basically override physics and gravity and gives him nearly boundless physical strength,speed and stamina. If he has knowledge of an area he can become nigh omnipresent with teleportation. Azrael also has some precognition abilities and is an extreme empath, being able to almost read minds by feeling the auras of people's emotions.
Skills
Azrael has self taught and some magic ability and delved into his tome of forbidden knowledge. Being angelic gives him a natural affinity towards celestial and primal magic. Azrael has also self taught swordplay, not being a expert in swordplay at all but using his ridiculous strength and speed has overcompensated this.
Gear and Equipment
Gear
Sword of the Demon King: A greater demon that wes fell by Azrael's hand, Azrael realized that after being wounded by the sword it nearly killed him. Azrael took up the sword and made it his primary weapon of choice. Figuring that if it can kill nephilim, demons and angels, then what can't it kill?
Angelic Warrior Armor: Armor blessed and sanctified by Michael himself, Azrael was gifted this after killing his first greater demon.
Aura of Destruction: Absorbed from Takofanes after his defeat.
Halo of Iron Will: Gifted to Azrael from Gabriel after stopping Luther Black.
Tome of Forbidden Knowledge: Given to Azrael by his mother in order to use spells and incantations to help in his battle against evil.
